Just received my Note 10+ today after upgrading from Galaxy S7Edge. After watching this video and others, I’m delighted so far that I seem to have chosen a great phone despite it being more expensive. Quality and innovation comes at a cost. I just hope it proves as good as the S7 Edge !

Great review as always ! The Note 10+ is undeniably beautiful, feature packed, but what a price tag !

Should I choose the new Aura Glow color? I would prefer Aura Black as most time my phone is covered with casing. What do you think?

If you’re covering the back then maybe go for Aura Black instead. The metal frame is anodised a lovely dark navy/black colour - i think it looks better than the silver on the Aura Glow model, and you’ll probably see this part of the phone exposed even with a case on. Also the S pen is black, not blue.

Watching this review on my Note 9 (4k selected) I think I'll hold off on the Note 10+ til Jan '20 as this still has some life left (even if the capacity is depleting slowly on AccuBattery)

Sounds like a good idea! Maybe there will be a small price drop too, there has been with the S10s so fingers crossed!

Coming from a Note 9, I did not want to upgrade. After holding it and comparing features, It was a no brainer for me to upgrade.

@@insidetechltd it's only a year older than my note 9 but: reverse wireless charging, a bigger battery, handwriting to text, wide angle photos, low light photos, the design refresh, and lastly the screen sold me. To answer your question, I use quick memo all the time at work. I used it a bunch today. Handwriting to text is something that I will be using right off the bat.

The 45w charger is not available yet, so it's not as if Samsung is holding it back to force you to buy separately. These chargers are more complex than most people realize.

I understand your point, I just think that USB PD tech should have been used instead for universal compatibility - gives consumers a choice!

Trying 2watch as many vids as I can, but I think I'm upgrading my s8+ to the note 10+. I'm almost sold, now just need 2pick a color!

Just a thought, isn't the power button being on the left a design choice since most right handed people would hold the s pen in their right hand and the phone in their left?

Great review. Great phone if slightly annoying camera middle of phone which I would use dark wallpapers to hide it a bit. I'm on note 9 so 10 isn't for me. Losing headphone jack is annoying especially as Samsung took the piss out of apple for doing that.

It does have NFC!

Do note on the Note 10+ that only Aura Black has a 512GB version. The other colors only get you 256 GB.

@@insidetechltd naw it's paid off, I enjoyed it and I gave it to my mother for her first smartphone... Also I had the 💵 to upgrade to the note 10 plus I paid it off as well.. 🍻 👌 😎

The only reason I upgrade to Note 10 from Note FE is the form factor.The Note 10 is easier to hold even though it has no jack and memory slot.I think it is not worth the upgrade if you're from Note 9 or Note 8.The Aura Glow, honestly I don't find it that appealing.Yes the color is something new but it has no wow effect on me.Note 10+ is nice but rather too big for my palm.

Fair enough! I can understand people choosing the Note 10 over the + model for comfort reasons, it is nicer to hold in the hand

I think I'm upgrading to the note 10+, and letting my mom use my S8+ to upgrade her S6 Edge.

Upgraded from Note9. Worth it? Hell yeah. Btw, I'm surprised that no one is mentioning SUP - Samsung Upgrade Program and trade-in option. They paid me £400 for my Note9, so I've got my 10 for £599 with interest-free loan with the device upgrade each year. Great deal imho, isn't it?

Note 9 is great device right now.....

Big disappointment with the Note 10 +. I have Note 9 and i'll stick with it till next Note. The punch hole looks silly for me as any solution with a punch hole in the screen. It is an annoying obstruction. Also no headphone jack, no led for notifications, no pulse sensor, no spo2 sensor, less screen ppi. It is a no go for me.

Good choice, I don't think Note 9 users should upgrade. And you're right, not everything is an upgrade either! I still prefer the hole punch to the bezels on the Note 9 myself, but I don't like the camera being centred!

And Apple should also be including the fast charger in the box too. In my opinion it’s the companies charging over $1000 for their smartphones that, if anything, are the entitled ones. Not the consumers.

@@insidetechltd well I will give you that apple takes advantage of consumers because it can. They know people will line up to buy their products. At least samsung offers preorder bonuses that allow me to buy what you think should be included at not cost. Apple wont even do that.
