I'm sorry but I have to say that for a mid-range device, 1½ hours to a full charge is not much to complain about (have we all forgot how, not too long ago, it took 4 hours or slightly more to fully charge a cell phone?), especially when you consider there's a 5,000 mAh battery powering the device!

Absolutely Plus you can charge this phone at night and it'll last you all day I haven't had the phone die on me once since I bought it I always end the day with at least 15%

Three days only miss Cameron have a question. My old Google pixel 3XL allowed video to record while music was playing on Amazon music, KZread music if I was subscribed, and. XM. However the vid camera that comes with this phone does not allow it. R there any suggestions re another camera app or settings? Is my first Samsung and I purchased it for 399 on Prime day. Thank you in advance for any help you could provide. One more note7 for the same amount of money which phone would you purchase

A54 ia only 139.00USD now at Walmart for Black Friday here in the US. The price is reduced. Great information. I did buy the A54 and it's been great so far.

A54 is only $279 USD now at Walmart here in the states. Of course, it's now been 4 months or longer since this video was uploaded, so I assume other retailers have likely reduced the price by now as well. Thanks for the review! I think you covered pretty much everything I wanted to know about this phone. I'm considering the A54, but will probably shop around a bit more before making a final decision.

I had pixel 7a and it had poor battery life , ran hot and had lots of bugs. The a54 isnt perfect but its better imo for all around performance

Battery is the issue for me, so that's why I have the A54 5G. I like how i can add 1 terabyte. I got it for a good price. 2 years with my plan at $1.58 CAD per month. Comes to $37.92 after 2 years. $60/mo (plan) + $1.58/mo (phone)

Also, if your phone last long enough even after the android updates. Linage OS can be installed on it with the Exynos chip whereas the Snapdragon is locked for OEM custom boot.

They are talking about custom roms which will void the warranty of the phone so don't really worry about it

Apparently it's not even ufs 3.1 it's 2.2 One of the youtuber emailed and confirmed since the speed was really slow.. But I can't find it anywhere on internet. Update: I found in few websites that it is 2.2 .

I think the phone is good I been using it for 2 weeks. I paid $370usd for it and that that price it's ok I think it should be $350 or 300 like the pixel 6a is here in the USA

I will add it's very very hard to put down my pixel 6a so if you are looking into this phone and the 6a I would say go with the 6a over this Samsung

Is your cheek touching the phone and hitting the end call icon on the keypad? Try using it on another screen other than keypad and see if it still happens.😅

Im about to lose my mind, my Samsung A54 5g phone is still restarting on its own even when I'm talking on it n the force restarts are driving me nuts. I've had my phone checked out and they can't find anything wrong with anything about my phone, do i have some settings on something it shouldn't be or what? Grrrrr, I don't have hardly anything downloaded on my phone, so i don't get it's problem, i even keep it out of a case so it doesn't get to hot.

Can I ask where and how did you get this phone activated because I've tried several carriers and they could not activate it

usb-c type c to 3.5 mm adaptor. around £4 on e bay.

The message notifications are a let down with Samsung phones. The led notifications sometimes work and other times they dont.

New phone for me after a car ran over my S9. Bit bulky with a case. I can't comment on the processors but don't like that there is no LED notification light or headphone jack. Looking forward to trying the camera. T-Mobile $450 in a state with no sales tax. A bit much but didn't want to stray from Samsung or go the next model up at $699.

This phone gets a lot of hate. So naturally there's people that say oh I have the phone. It's sucks, it's this. It's that the reality of it is that is 90% of the functionality of the S series in a much cheaper package. The wonderful blazing fast phone with much better battery life

Don't That purple 🟣 color attracting me like magnet. But for Exynos and ufs 2.2 my god. I hate that processor. I have to go for oneplus , if you want long battery life 8 gen 2 and ufs 4.0 is the way to go. This combination is killer.

Stop complaining about the 25w charging, this is the best setup. You don't need 5Mv charging capacity for a phone like this, Samsung phones are comparatively much more reliable than those Chinese brands who gives you tons of wattage in charging. And most of the normal users don't bring their phone down to 0%. I use A52s my device charges in around 40min from 20-85 because i have protect battery on. This photlne is 98% perfect

Not every set support esim.Depend on the country.

This is still better than the redmi note 12 pro plus 5g the 1380 is better than the dimensity 1080 and their both at the same price.

The chipset was great... about 2 years ago on the a52s which is basically the equivalent. Just a bump up from the abysmal a53 chipset isn't going to make me pay $450, I'm also not a fan of the larger size and extra weight.

Can't even watch uhd 4k programs on a54 as there's no support. aspect ratio cannot be changed on many apps like youtube you can fill screen but you loose details so stuck with big black bars either side of what your watching. So watching content is not recommended on this phone

It's a good phone. Gets me through 1 n half day battery life. I have 256 gb variant so the battery Management on this is good.

So you all know you can add wireless charging to it by buying the little 5 to ten dollar receiver pad that plugs right in the the charging port then just pop it on the wire charger

You don't need to worry about charging you charge it once and then you forget about it if you need to charge your phone multiple times during the day and you have a 5,000 milliamp hour battery you need to put the phone down son

You can't base the performance of this exynos chip on the past performance of old exynos chips everyone knows technology moves fast and Samsung hurt everyone complaining about the a53 stuttery performance it didn't go unnoticed The whole reason I bought the phone I had to use it before I bought it because I was leary of the performance too everyone who's looking at the a54 I'm sure was

I lost my a54 last week from motorcycle then i bouth it again

This phone is not worth it heres why many peoples missing it : -still using ufs 2.2 for 450$, ufs version 2 are really slow if u had GB/huge files transfer, its ancient tech -no charger in the box (imagine first time buying usb c phone) -no 3.5mm jack audio -exynos 1380 isp can't handle eis (stabilization) @4k30fps (all others phones similiar at this price all of them can handle it) -poor performance at that price (believe me in 2023 most android will be using snapdragon 7gen2+ (atleast equalievant to it) 7gen2 score up to 970k probably 16gb ram hit 1 million as they advertise, exynos 1380 score 500k U know snapdragon made by samsung fabrication throttle alot and heats up in raw performance -its very heavy 202gr (s23 168gr) (a52s 189gr)

Preach brother, Exynos ain't worth the sand it was made from. They won't give you wireless because they want you to spend on the S series to get wireless charging.

My opinion on this one: - If it had a somewhat better chipset with 8GB RAM as the standard OR - Was just cheaper It would be good. Modern phone, good battery life. Looks good. But it cant getto greatness cause of those two things.
