@@vvvios Supcase Beetle Pro is good too I'd imagine. The screen protector wouldn't help so maybe cutting it out and using a dedicated tempered glass protector could potentially improve it.

I just bought a couple of a53 5g's, so far, my wife and I love. I chose them because they're compatible with my wife's hearing aids.

I have this phone for more than a year, and I have punched the screen of this phone out of anger many times and very hard and I can tell you: it doesn't break. Today I tossed it in the air and punched it and well, the phone went screen flat against the wall and didn't break. I highly recommend this phone.

I bought one two days ago upgrade from a11 so gar battery life is great

you should try to start and check if the SIM tray has liquid or not, in your water tests.

I'm watching this video with that exact phone

I am watching this video becuase I have recently bought one of these phones. It dropped maybe 1.5ft off the top of a cooler onto asphalt, screen cracked and touch didn't work anoymore. I replaced the screen, and now again 1 month later it fell off my lap while sitting down (~2ft) onto wood flooring, no cracks in the screen but once again the screen doesn't function. My last samsung phone I had for 4 years and no issues with any drop.

You should also do corner drop tests, my screens end is always that left corner drop

I had my phone in my pocket with the cover on the exterior and i hit a table corner and the cover wes bent, so its not resistant at all.

so guys, from my experience it will survive the most insane things but it will not survive a 2 foot drop. I once dropped it onto some big rocks about 35 feet up, and it just had a little scratch on the back. A few months later and it fell of my bed, (3.6 feet) it was shattered.
