For the adaptive refresh rate issue, I've found out that I can use bixby routines to lower the refresh rate when I'm playing games or watching Netflix. Although I'm not sure if that has much of an effect on the battery life.

I go it for around 380$, happy with my decision... A few issues with the A52s camera, UW camera struggles quite a bit in low light, OIS doesn't work because the images in dark have too much NOISE with high ISO. One more tip, you have to hold your A52s extra steady while clicking in the dark using night mode. The selfie camera has some sort of beautification mode enabled by default...

Hey Kumar, I'm so glad you liked it! If you don't like putting cases this phone is good for you as it is plastic. You'll still get scuffs and scratches but it's better than glass. Avoid the black one that will show scratches more. Get the awesome mint if you can.

@@anirudhkumarsingh8212 fingerprint scanner is very fast.Snapdragon 778 finds the sweet spot between power efficiency and great performance. It is a little more expensive than it's counterparts but I believe this is the best mid ranger right now.

Samsung Galaxy A52S 5G has a problem with the screen. It is probably a manufacturing defect where the screen flickers (how the analogue TVs used to behave when they lose the signal) and the phone freezes. I've seen quite a number of similar complaints online but the company has remained mum on the issue...which is a manufacturing defect. Please avoid it!

as nice phone for a daily driver it does have lot better camera quality than poco f3. for nicer performance on gaming , disable the GOS

The phone literally has a clear see through phone case skin included in the box so dunno why you claim it doesn't.

correct me if I'm wrong: there is a protective film on the brand new screen which should be removed. it doesn't cover the selfie cam and you can feel it's edges right there.

Thanks for the compliment Jason. Financially speaking Samsung is the better deal however, I'm a big fan of the pixel experience overall.Especially astrophotography mode on the pixels. Whatever you end up choosing you're gonna be fine; both are solid choices

IMO, Samsung provided a sluggish charging brick to somehow prolong the battery life. Samsung is all about longevity. Not for those who frequently replace their phones.

Aslında Google pixel 5a da çok başarılı buluyorum ama ülkemizde sunulmuyor. Onun dışında tamamen performans için poco F3 öneririm ama kamera tatminkar değil. A52S bütün ihtiyaçlara doğru miktarda karşılık veriyor bana kalırsa.

In my country a shop has now the galaxy 52 5g on 30% offer, therefore its €363, compared to the €539 of the galaxy 52s 5g.. would you say that this price difference makes the a52 5g the better choice? What would you do? I'd appreciete it much if you respond, thanks:)

Judging from your last name I assume you're Greek so hi neighbor! Faster processor and 120Hz refresh rate aside, they're identical phones. 539€ seems too steep for this phone and the original a52 is difficult to live with due to very slow chipset. My suggestion is that you check Samsung s20 FE, which is on sale at public.gr for 499€, it's a better phone in every way and cheaper.Or you could wait for s21FE if you have the budget.

Hey I'm Turkish, yes i would absolutely take FE over this. FE is essentially a trimmed down flagship whereas a52 is a solid midranger

Adequate plastic, yip. Prefer the lightweight any time over fractured glassy stuff, but whatever Sam uses, it's a totally toy thing compared to what Moto has on their phones. I'd call that Posh Premium Plastic

Hi! This was actually one of the best reviews i've seen on this phone. I'm actually looking for a phone that will last for atleast 3-4 years with zero to no gaming at all since all i use my phone is for calling, connecting like social media stuffs, camera and watching videos/ movies basically. It has been a year since this phone was released but looking at all of the specs i'm really feeling like i should go for this one! It's price currently has dropped to around 26k Rupees. But seeing a lot of phones coming around I've been a little confused. Like the M52 which claims to be more or less similar to this one and that's currently 21k Rupees. It would be really helpful if you could suggest me with your experience! P.S - I've personally never ever used a samsung phone before..

The only different between a52s and m52 is that m52 has a bigger battery and display but also lack ip rating and no headphone jack. If you watch content and like big screen go for m52 but if not go to a52s... I used s10 lite 6.7inch for two years and I recently got a52s... I missed the bigger screen and watching content on although even after get used to it I was still struggling a bit with the display size. a52s 6.5 still nice to watch on it and absolotly more comfertable in using. Its really also depends on the person hand size... I hope it helped..

I love this phone but it has a bad battery. Always on display consumes too much battery, I hope Samsung will fix it. How long does your battery last?

Merhaba, Samsung a52s 5G bu sene en çok onerdigim telefonlarin basinda geliyor ancak hem fiyat hem donanım olarak iPhone 12 ile yarışmasına imkan yok. Benchmarklarda bile Apple bionic chipleriyle yarışacak bir android muadil yok. Snapdragon 888 olsa dahi. iPhone'dan Android'e geçmek için mantıklı telefon istiyorsanız Şubat'ta çıkacak Samsung s22 serisi olabilir ancak.

I rhink a 52 5g it a all rounder it like a mid ranch s21 ultra i friend we compare to my s21ultra in every day use ! That,wont burn pocket

Ekran koruyucu için BUFF markasını kılıf için spigen öneririm.Cesit var aslında çokça çünkü normal a52 ile ölçüleri aynı. İstediğiniz a52 kılıfını alabilirsiniz.

Hey Daniel that sounds weird. Mine doesnt do that!

Recently I purchased samsung galaxy A52s 5G and I am having this problem. Black doesn't go complete black sonetimes while on AOD and on any pure black background. In amoled screen it is supposed to turn off lights in black screen completely but it doesn't. Even if you turn off AOD doesn't help because during charging that Gray screen or powered on black pixel shows up and not complete black. What is happening here is like LCD screen where back light always on unless you turn off screen completely.

@@talkinghead9664 that would be my pleasure. Updates updates! I'm an early adapter and I want to get latest software a.s.a.p . When you buy a pixel, you're getting your updates directly from the manufacturer with no flavors added. I also don't like Samsung's OneUI, it's come a long way yet still too bloated for my taste. Pixel is leaner,cleaner and faster. Also, google cam is the king of computational photography. Finally, astrophotography mode in pixels. I love being able to take pictures of the night sky merely with a phone.

I don't change phones that often, currently have a p30 pro that has been excellent for almost 3 years still looks fresh to this day.. Maybe the a52s isn't a substantial upgrade over the p30 pro? Where as the pixel 6 would be?? Anyway something to ponder!! But think the p6 is worth finding the extra few quid in the long term..... appreciate you taking time out to reply to me.

@@talkinghead9664 p30 was amongst the best phones of its era. Had an amazing camera system consistently scoring very high on dxomark ( could be the highest score don't remember) . But after everything that's happened with Huawei I think it's time for a change until the matter can be resolved( if ever). A52S is a solid midranger it's just that. It's a sensible phone if you are long term user and budget conscious person. Once again I'd definitely go for the pixel if I could.

According to a review I saw it doesn't heat up much due to snapdragon 778G processor.

In Bangladesh they only display Samsung a52s 5g awesome mint and awesome violet color. They don't display white or black. So it's tough to choose which color I should take. When I watch KZread videos sometimes white one looks better in your hand and sometimes the black one. Now advise me which one to pick please☺

Hey Tanveer lots of love to Bangladesh 🇧🇩 I actually recommend awesome mint, for me that was the most beautiful color. I only didnt buy awesome mint because it was a display unit. If you must choose between white and black id take white, black will show imperfections like key scratches over time.

That's not what I'm saying at all. You missed the point. When using 120HZ the value stays locked up INSTEAD of being adaptive and changing according to the app. It stays locked on 120HZ EVEN if the app you're using doesn't support 120hz

Merhaba Sena Hanım, kusura bakmayın henüz 11 lite 5g modelini test edemedim. Normal 11 Lite modelini test etmiştim ve 2020'de en çok onerdigim telefonlarin başında geliyordu. Açık söylemem gerekirse a52s bana göre biraz önde, sebebi ise her kameranın 4k çekim yapıyor olması,uzun sure güncelleme alacağının kesin olması ve daha yüksek ekran yenileme hızı ve suya dayaniklilik. Öte yandan 11 lite'in artıları çok daha şık duruyor olması(bence) adaptif ekran yenileme olması, kutunun içinden hızlı şarj aleti çıkması. Seçim sizin umarım faydalı olur 🙂

Mine came with a screen protector and a jelly case. The case is inside the slim box where the SIM ejector is attached. I absolutely love this device. The extended software support is my biggest selling point, even if other Chinese brands are comparable (or even slightly better) in specs.

Hello Ray Sm7325 is the code name for snapdragon 778 they're the same thing.Thermals are very efficient. It is one of the most powerful mid range chipsets.I think you'll be fine with it.

Ray, for day to day tasks your phone will never get hot. However if you play demanding games for a long time E.g ( Genshin Impact) any phone gets hot. If you are not an intensive gamer you can get it and have no issues.

So the 128 GB version actually comes with 8 GB of RAM? I thought it has 6 which would lead me to buy the 256 GB version...

Hey Nile, in majority of the countries A52S ships with 6/128 or 8/256 so you did the right thing. Ram configuration completely depends on the region. In my region it ships only with 8GB that's why it's 128/8 it's probably different in your country.

On another note we all know the camera is better on the pixel 5a and the software is better on the pixel also. Anyway, nobody in the world is keeping this for 4 years.

I'm also a stock Android guy. I agree with you there. But we need to keep in mind that Google Pixel line up isn't available in most markets. I wish we had it here. We also have to bear in mind, while people like you and I switch devices back and forth there are a lot less fortunate parts of the world where people use their phones until they die like in Bangladesh, India etc.

I think software between A52 and stock android are equally good...you cannot say that one is better than this one and otherwise..because its depent on our priorities..anyway..samsung A52s still ovefall is better than pixel 5A 5G..and more all rounder..

The thing is you're comparing it to Chinese brand phones which will always be a better hardware value, due to more lax labor and environmental laws, more privacy concerns, and likely inferior long term support/updates. These are intangibles that are harder to quantify than just comparing a list of hardware specs.

Your comparing to iPhone that comes with...er ..nothing
