I bought this phone for my grandma who needed a new phone desperately. I myself am rocking the galaxy s20 so I have know samsung for a while. For what she uses it as with talk, text and Google searches this works great. She felt weird about going from a 4.7 to a 6.5 display but she loves being able to see more clearly

don't forget to turn on "EZ mode" it's a great mode for older people and it will make phone really accessible for them

Thats good since 2 +,3gs will be obsolete starting January 1st and though out depending on the phone. Many elderly have flip phones will have to get new phones .

I brought the A02s in February, so far everything is go especially the battery life. It doesn't lag out heat up even when i use an average of 7-8 hours per day. Everything is good for me but the selfie camera is a little bit below average in todays standard. I updated it to android 11 yesterday.

The one thing missing from nearly all these smart phone reviews is how it performs as a phone. Important for me with a moderate hearing loss.

If you're a simple person who really doesn't care about having a bunch of apps.. taking pictures all the time.. this phone is great. Does the basic things I need just fine

Chinese companies do the same thing and reach the top ... they also have to take out phones on the conveyor belt in order to compete with the crap in China.

I rarely play any games on my phone, and I have heard that the SD 450 beats out the Helio G35 in terms of Graphic and Smoothness in Pubg Mobile and Cod Mobile

@@typhoon_8086 Look into Redmi 9 then. FHD 1080p screen, Helio G80, better cameras. I believe it's around $140 for the base 3gb/32gb version. For the price it's selling at they've used the best SoC. Samsung doesn't really know how to do budget phones right. A 720p screen on a 6.5 display looks terrible, and the Snapdragon 450 isn't great either.

ive gotten mine yesterday and it was reallyyyy nice! but the only thing that i wasnt liking ia the emoji bar😅

i own an A50, pretty quick. I helped a family member today to activate his A02s. Nice build, great back. When setting up, I was surprised at how noticeably slower it was than my A50. I know it's much cheaper. But, it was slow enough for it to be annoying. The UI was pretty fluid, but it was so slow, i would save up and just get an A30. Another fam member has one and it's nice.

good overall review but do a better test on games. Pick a little graphics intensive games. Because such games test the display, the graphics processor and overall speed. Its not a flagship or mid range phone sure but there are a lot of graphics intensive games that are on the mid to low level phones that you can use to test it. Battery, Graphics and Speed all tested just by playing such games.

You talking to those familiar with smart phones, but I ordered a manual through the post to learn from. What has puzzled me so far is I have always texted people with letter after letter but the manual implies you can speak sentences to the phone. Really? Can it understand every accent and dialogue?

bought one a few weeks ago for $170 ... so far so good ... its camera may not be as good as those found on iPhones ... but it's more than good enough to satisfy even the finicky photographer me! ;-)

@@abdulsaboor6415 more than good enough for the way i use it, which is not a lot really! for example, i barely browse the Internet using a smartphone unless when really necessary ... if i check emails it's only for emergency and mostly to delete the junk i don't want so when i check my emails on a laptop or a desktop computer, i'd be dealing with a more tidy inbox ... also, i NEVER play games on it (nor do i do that on a laptop or desktop computer for that matter ...) so, it means i'd never cause it to slow down because a game is also running alongside other stuff ... in fact, even with my main fully capable powerful desktop computer, i always have in mind to keep / quit unused programs off so they won't annoy any task that is the main one in use ... same thing i do with this phone or any other: keep unused apps off the 'desktop' or quit webpages that are no longer used off the browser and so on ... long story short, using a computerized device, is pretty much similar to driving a car ... you have to be aware of how much load you put on it and when to accelerate or slow down depending on road and climate conditions and other factors ... otherwise even the best of cars will show signs of abuse in a very short time! :-)

@@abdulsaboor6415 it's quite fast when using its own charger ... never timed it precisely but it's under 2 hours, perhaps a little more than 1 hour i guess ... (i'm even thinking it might even be under an hour, but not sure ...) again, that's one of those things i don't bother with much because i believe in "proper management" of everything in life: being "responsible" so to say ... or following the good old saying: Prevention Better Than Cure! ;-) i just make sure i keep checking things in advance (Preventive Maintenance) such as keeping my cellphones (yes, more than one!) always charged! i also have a few portable chargers, which i keep charged just as well ... i barely happens to be left with a discharged phone ... (or camera ... or ...) :-)
