Well, I spent an entire week and a few visits to TV stores and decided against the frame even though I wanted it’s aesthetic so bad. The picture quality was by far the worst in the price range. It had terrible screen tearing on fast objects, much worse then considerably cheaper TVs. It has terrible input lag for gaming if that’s your thing. And the edge lit LED was obvious in dark scenes. And the SOFTWARE…. Oh the software. Far out. Clunky. Slow and full of bloatware. They are trying to sell you things in the menus. I wanted this so bad, but I just can’t, knowing I’ll be looking at it for the next 10+ years.

@@cellardoor7500 ohhhh boo. I didn’t get likes on a year old video. People buying this want it for the frame aesthetic. If you bother to compare the panel to other LEDs you will find exactly what I said is true. If you have a bright room, its performance is poor as it has zero backlighting - it’s an edge lit tv (old tech). There is several conversations and KZread reviews about the frustration with the software and the performace of the panel being “average”…. Especially since it has a premium price tag. Even when compared to much cheaper TVs .. Samsung try to sell you things in the menus, and to get any of the frame art, it’s is a subscription service. How the hell would I know any of this. I bought one for my office to use a display monitor when customers come around. But I chose against it for my home lounge and daily use. In fact. I just googled Samsung frame software issues and there pages of complaints. us.community.samsung.com/t5/QLED-and-The-Frame/The-Frame-TV-Irritating-Usability-Issues/td-p/2734799 This guy has summarized a few issues with the problem with art mode alone.. which is the selling point of this tv... Mine is a 2023 model, it has crashed several times. It gets stuck in various menus. Its menu is laggy. It turns on with a different input each time, requiring you to change it almost every time you turn it on. It’s completely lost its WiFi 4 times. I uploaded a heap of personal photos to the art cloud and 25% of them load, the rest display a grey blank screen. Before you make a smart ass comment. Try googling Samsung frame problems. Again. It’s an aesthetically pleasing wall mounted tv, but as I said in my original comment - and now I’m repeating myself... It’s nowhere near the best tv panel for the money and Samsung charges you a monthly fee to view random art, and it also costs extra to get the magnetic picture frame, and it’s heavily let down by its software as has been confirmed by many people. I can confirm my original concerns 8 months ago, since I own one for my office. And the stuff people complained about is true. You obviously want one. Just buy one, they look fantastic on the wall… but don’t get upset when I provide facts about the tv that hurt your ideas.

@@flickboogers9325 are you happy with it otherwise? I just got the Hisense 75U8H mini led. And honestly. Very happy with my purchase. Dolby vision, Dolby HDR10+ and Dolby audio, not edge lit, much faster refresh rate then the Samsung I think. Even has AMD free sync which I think the Samsung had none of. It’s got Alexa and google and all the high ticket items, and the mini led is crazy bright in a bright room and brilliant colors such that Dolby vision certified it. With my setup, I have zero regrets, and glad I didn’t pay extra for an average screen albeit extra flush. My current setup is only 5cm off the wall at most? Sure the Samsung will still be fine. It’s still a big tv with a nice screen, but when I sat there comparing side by side with some aggressive KZread tests I was blown away by how poorly it performace against it’s not always cheaper cousins. Of course this is irrelevant to you as you bought it haha, but might help someone in the same position as me torn which way to go! I’m sure I would be happy with either at the end of the day!
