Bought this smartphone (used/2nd hand naturally !) for my Father yesterday because the mobile bank app got an update & he can't use his Galaxy Note 4 anymore. 🤔😇😕😒 Because he is clumsy in his old age it's good to know how to disassemble this phone. Especially for replacing the battery. 😄🤔😏

Hey, what happens if the little silver metal square that is located to the right side of the top connector of the antenna falls off?? It is not the antenna connector but it is j Hus st on the right side of it. On the edge of the board. On the top right side ontop of the battery. Ontop and to the right of the black circle that's ontop rightvof the battery. Right where you connect the antenna but to the right of it.

Yea try , but be careful not to damage the screen while doing that

If the phone doesn’t work anymore (stocked in bootloop and nobody has been able to fix it) can you still save the memory somehow? I’ve been holding on my phone for a few years because it has some valuable photos and videos and I haven’t been able to get them back and I really don’t want to throw away the phone. Some memories can’t be replaced with anything at all.

I have an unusual question: is it possible to open this phone and disable/remove wifi antenna and mobile data antenna to make it into a 2G (calls and texts) phone only?

If you remove wifi antena and cellular antena you won't be able to reach any network including 2g, to do that go to settings choose network then select 2g only.

For removing back not more than 190c , remember back made from plastic it could melt
