Forgot my lock pattern over a week ago... After I called my phone carrier, etc NO LUCK... Went to trusty ol' Google & stumbled upon ur video.... Trying it now... Will edit & let ya know the results lol ... 😊 So far it's not letting me restart it though. Going to try again. I had to wait over 4 hours just to unlock it this far. Smh

Like many people before me have said: 1. you cannot go into Safe Mode if you don't know your safety pattern--your phone won't allow it. You'll have to follow the pinned video to solve that problem. I watched it and it works--you can put your phone into Safe Mode while it is unlucked. 2. you have to wait longer and longer times before you can draw a new pattern again. That is where I got stuck, it would take me hours to redraw the pattern again and again. Maybe the video would work if you watched it as soon as you realized you forgot your pattern and you would only have to wait minutes, not hours. Update: I ended up doing a simple factory reset with the help of the side buttons. Since my Samsung had been synched with Google and One Drive, my photos, contacts, etc. were all saved. I just had to download my apps again and adjust my general settings.

Hello! I followed all of the given steps but the last one where Id have to put in the ˝new password˝ because I remembered my actual one, which I put in instead. However, it didnt work, and after a wait of a few hours, I put in the new one, but that one didnt work either. Ive restarted my phone and now I have to wait again for a few hours before inputting a password, but if neither work, what shall I do? Please, help.

It worked for me. My Samsung suddenly started rejecting my pin. I followed the steps till the safe mode stage, restarted the phone and tried my pin again. Viola, it opened. So, it works

i have a Samsung a23 i tried pressing the power button plus the volume down button to restart my phone but it still says I need to first put in my pin before I can restart it but whenever I try putting it on safe mode i can successfully restart but it doesn't show the words safe mode at the bottom left corner when it turns back on. Now it has said i need to wait 8 hours before I can attempt to open my phone because of too many attempts

So i tried this and it didn't work. But then, a day later I took my phone out of my bag and it was unlocked. Have no idea how - so maybe this did work but the outcome was very delayed. So I think, thank you? After this difficult lesson folks, write down your passweord/pin even if you think it's in your muscle memory. And write down email address and password connected to your phone.

When you tell that i need to set 5 times the new code in save mode it wont let me do that after i did it 1 time it start counting down

I have a samsung galaxy A71 And i have already passed that 24 hours period. Now im so concerned about my data not to be lost

I am having this problem with an s20 plus. I only have 3 attempts left until it resets my data to factory. Very frustrating and annoying since I know my password pattern. Previously it was letting me log in with my fingerprint but that just disappeared randomly. And now when i try to draw my passcode pattern, the trail simply disappears before I can finish it, so it thinks its the wrong passcode.... any recommendations / do u think this will work for my phone? thanks.
