The likes of Tsikata that crafted the constitution did a huge disservice to the country Ghana. They were more concerned about pleasing and protecting Rawlings (from prosecution post-presidency) than writing a solid/progressive constitution for the country. Every concerned Ghanaian should make noise till the constitution is amended. The way it is currently, it won't take us anywhere...

Who in his rightful senses will want to sell labadi beach hotel. Labadi has been the epitome of luxury in the hotel industry in Ghana until recently that the new boys joined. Even that it’s still competing with the likes of tang, movenpic, kempiski and the likes But our sensible leaders think ssnit with all the money in this world can not manage it but rock city can. The main reason behind this deal is to buy labadi and ridge royal with elimina and la palm being the decoy.

Your comments and disposition suggest that Akufo Addo is not the one behind the transaction in the first place. You are assuming he doesn't know anything about it right from the beginning. But may just be wrong, Sampson. You may be complaining to the actual brain behind the deal, Akufo Addo, Gabby, Ofori Atta.

What a moot point. So what if some of the hotels are more profitable than some of Mr Achempong's own? Did he offer those hotel shares for sale? Is he not an investor interested in making profit just like any Ghanaian? Do business men go out seeking investments that are less profitable? Have you not gone to the market to buy something, and they make you a deal by presenting to you what is desirable and adding some undesirable then asking you to take it as a package?

You missed the whole point. If Bryan Acheampong were not a political office holder, no one would've questioned him. The laws of Ghana are clear on conflicts of interest. He is a cabinet minister and should not take advantage of his position. Let's learn to be fair. Otherwise, the country will never move forward.

5G is highly technical and you can’t just give to unqualified companies. Apparently Ghana has had 4G for many years but none of the existing companies has been able to scale up to 5G.
