I take you on a drive along the Samruddhi Mahamarg, also known as the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway, which is one of the longest and most ambitious road projects in India. The 701-km long expressway connects the capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai, to the second capital, Nagpur, and passes through 10 districts and 390 villages. It is designed for a top speed of 150 kmph and features several engineering marvels such as bridges, tunnels, flyovers, and wildlife crossings. The expressway is expected to boost the economic development, tourism, and rural connectivity of the state.
