Depends how long the flight is. Having mine sit next to me on a _bed_ for 15 mins is hard enough lol Can’t imagine he’d be a fan of a 6 hour plane ride. And they really heat you up if they’re sitting on you.

As an Aussie it absolutely astounds me that dogs travel on the plane with passengers over there 😳!! Here they HAVE to be transported in proper cages etc and loaded into cargo bays of selected animal transport planes !!

My father has had 3 Samoyeds that have passed on, they had the most loving temperament and are all sadly missed. My father is dying of cancer and likely only has a few weeks left but I know that if heaven exists he will be reunited with his beautiful dogs never to be apart again, and that gives me some solace.

Some people are scrared or allergic to dogs🤷‍♀️ and some just don’t like dogs or at least not on a plane and its understandable when its a Long flight and theres a dog barking or blocking the hallway .. you know its an exception that this dog got to be on Board! Only tiny dogs are allowed with passagiers - the big ones normally are in the Animal space in Cages in the underground of the plane

Real curious how that worked out considering there’s only one seat and a tight row with a big ass dog

If I or other people who don’t care about dogs (and I own 2) were seated there, I wouldn’t allow the dog to sit there. There definitely isn’t enough room regardless what you think.

Dog was the paying passenger.... carrying the "emotional support" animal behind! 😆😆😆😆

Only certified service dogs can fly in cabin. ESAs can no longer fly in cabin. This dog was probably registered as one. People fake having one to fly like this.

I would not get excited, but would rather have the dog next to me then a kid. Then again I got dogs who love to use my feet as there pillows under my desk so lack of foot room wouldn't be anything new.... I would be likely to be petting the dog while in flight so ya. I can see why she would want the dog in her row.

Some might not care, some might be scared of dogs, some might give the dog a smile, and some may resist the urge to pet it w/o permission for fear of holding the owner up or distracting a potential service dog. I’d be excited too till I realize I’m sharing my foot space with a big fluffy dog Edit: Turns out you can only have a dog on-board most airlines unkenneled if you have a service dog of some sort. 9/10 a dog this size would never be allowed on board so curious to know what type of service dog this is. This isn't per airline is per airport. Hence why you don't see everyone walking around with their dogs in the terminal.

Planes actually have a very decent amount of space under each seat that this beautiful doggo would hardly fill. Those spaces are made for dogs. I even remember someone fitting a mastiff under their seat. It's a lot more humane than where they would be placed.

@Becca I use to be a ramp agent for West jet in Canada and a handful of airlines in Canada don't let you bring your dog as a Carry on. And if you're flying internationally then coordinating with the airline may be even trickier. Nonetheless I agree. It's better when an animal that is traveling is within the care of the owner and not stuffed under the plane.

@@mydogbird I fly basic economy. Like I said before on this post, it's a tight fit but it's very possible. I take my dog on flights all the time and she's not big, but she's not small either by any means.

I would definitely want it to sit by me. I definitely would not let it get by without me getting a good pet on that so beautiful fur!

If you have bad allergies you might not hate him but you'd steer clear. I had to leave a party once because my cousin simply brought her dog (that looked similar to this one but black) from her backyard to put him in the play room and I got sooo sick. I couldn't breath it was so bad.

He sits on the ground in front of her and under the seat of the chair in front of her. Usually you are lucky if your plane isn't full and you have an extra seat or 2 in your row but lucky for her, she has those two lovely ladies who are so excited to share their space with the puppy 😊.

That would be a nightmare for me. I am allergic and the air is recycled on a plane. 🫢🤒 People hardly consider those with dog or cat allergies. I had to switch lines at a grocery store once because of an owner with a dog behind me. People think you're being rude or mean, but I didn't want to deal with feeling sick, I had stuff to do that day.

Why would you assume the rest don't like pets? I love pets, but I love my own and in my house. Same with children, I love my nieces and nephews but not others people child's, and definitely I don't want a flight in economic with neither of those. Sorry for being honest

I was at an airport once waiting for a flight. Someone had a dog, another person stopped to meet the dog and while the two of them were all excited to meet each other (man and dog), a group had stopped to watch them. A big crowd of happy.

Even though I don’t really like dogs (too many bad dog owners), I’m glad the people that were most excited to see the dog were it’s neighbors. That’s a win win situation for both parties!

@@TheLirJEt86 oh I can tell she's fine but I've never flown with an animal, dunno I would've expected the pup to be stressed/need to pee/ear hurting due to pressure but I have no idea at all. Maybe it's a shorter flight too, just wondering what if it's one of those huge 12 hour flights

​@@iCortex1yeah i dont think a plane would be a great environment for a dog. Assistance/service dogs need to be there and are trained to deal with stressfull situations. But peoples pet dogs shouldnt travel by plane in my opinion. Im not an expert i just think the pressure, noises, and tight spaces cant be nice at all. And most people dont understand dog body language enough to understand how theyre feeling.

You can tell the dog is well trained because it actually listens when its owner says to leave it. I bet most of the passengers were thinking "oh great, another SeRvIcE aNiMaL that is going to be barking the whole flight"

I think the animal is in training that's why she's directing it. You do know that service animals need to be trained right? They don't just pop out the womb knowing what to do.
