Its always physical when brothers clash. We have 3 teams from our region that will be playing at the 2023 RWC, lets try to make the quarter finals. I know its a longshot but our 3 teams have the players to do just that.

I think Fiji will make the quarters, Wales are an absolute mess atm. As for Tonga and Samoa, their groups are harder for them to get out of, especially Tongas

@@pierre4322 yeah exactly, Japan haven’t been anywhere near the team they were in 2019. Although England aren’t great atm they’ll till be much better than Japan. And Argentina are better than England imo. Don’t see Samoa coming higher than 3rd in their pool

From a Fijian supporter…everyone will forget this game when the sun rises on Sunday morning and all other PNC games remaining for that matter. What they will not forget is if one, two or all three pasifika teams ( Fiji, Samoa and Tonga) knock out tier 1 teams in the World Cup pool stages, qualify to the quarters or semis or finals or even win the Web Ellis cup. Center Stage is all that matters.

This is all warm up matches for the pacific teams.the process of testing players for the world cup .well done both teams.

Dominant performance from Fiji but those first two Samoa tries and the conversion were sublime too. Don’t fancy being on the receiving end of that end-of game hit; bet his ears were still ringing when the whistle went.

Pnc this year is not only Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.😅😅😅when we playing each other we have a sprinkle of All Blacks and wallabies in the mix . So basically Fiji, Samoa, Tonga ,All Blacks and Wallabies. What a competition

manu fan here.. I'm glad Fiji won. You learn much more from losses and mistakes than you do from wins. Fiji exposed most of the areas that need work. Imagine having a perfect win streak in pnc just to get to the world cup and get a cricket score sassing by the tier 1 nations. Good work Fiji. Good effort Manu

Great team at that time.Especially when they beat and outmuscled six nations champions wales at that time in 2012.But not far behind are those vintage Samoan team of the 90s.91 and 95 quarterfinal finishes.Or that star studded team of 99 with Stephen Bachop and the late Tuigamala

Samoa and Tonga had really good squads in 2011, unlike Fiji for obvious reasons that time 😂

We gauge ourselves in the PNC games and go out a better motivated team. Great game both teams

Its great hearing Sumo commentating Rugby.

Super Rugby has raised the bar for Fiji & now the coach has depth which was missing in the last World Cup. Fiji should be able to beat Wales comfortably

They've been doing so since day 1, the priority is how long their stamina can keep up for the full 80 minutes after slowing down a bit in the 2nd 40.

@Samizouza Yes you're right. They have struggled to play for a full 80 in the past. They have dominated top teams many times but lost in the last 20 or so minutes.

Yes Fiji could beat Wales and lost to Portugal like it did in the last world cup just because their focus was high on the tier 1 teams Aust and Wales in their pool games. Uruguay created the upset of the second day whatsoever. Hope it won't repeat in the coming RWC. The lesson is treat all teams equal in strength until the eggs are hatched. Tonga Samoa and Fiji can go there and beat all the teams in their pool and make the finals. We have been ignored by IRB by allowing International rugby houses monopolizing our boys. A system which befit their machinery at the expense of our natural talent. ...Their investment...The examples of Radradra, Pitau, Savea to many many others is the profiting product earned by them yet unshared to the islands. Rules are made to be amended . Would love to see more changes be made by the controlling body. Vinaka.

Building the team around our Drua Team has certainly raised the bar for footy in the team. All we need to do now is perfect it and go the full 80. Our pacific brothers 2nd half performance shows the capabilities in their squad. They'd be a force to be reckoned off if they to perfect their games. Semi is probably the best center to play since BOD. Perfect decision making every time and now that teams double up on him every time he's using is distribution skills more than his running. He's in the World 15 for sure.

Not sure who the defense coach for Samoa is, but their line speed and chase lines have been poor both in Japan and at home. Our starting front row looked very small compared to fiji and it really showed with us losing the scrums and not being big or strong enough to keep the Fijians from getting across the gain line. Samoa really lost the battle up front in the first half and it was only when the replacement hooker for Samoa, who was excellent, came on that they started making more meters. Subbing in the larger bench props also stabilised our scrum. I'm not sold on Enari, his passing is very inaccurate and he's not a threat with ball in hand around the rucks. Melani really got them moving when he came on. Perhaps more of the sevens boys should be in the 15s team 🤔 Danny Toala very average again with bad hands a feature for him in every match. Hopefully Maposua is getting a clearer idea of who should be in the starting squad now and they can gel more in their next game against Tonga. The boys need to do more work off the ball though especially with their d lines. I'm looking forward to Tonga next week. Go Manu.

Our manu defend line was not straight some player rushing forward and give Fiji a cab to run through also some of the forward standoff when Fiji maul their ball its should chase a side step should be patient on straight defend line just like a fishing net it's come to you wake up manu you can do it my Heroes

Some Fiji players are making the decision making process for the coach too easy not to pick them for the WC for their lackluster performance. A lot of players a making it difficult for him by playing well.

They need to move ravuataumada to fullback and put tuisova back at wing. Ravutaumada is really good at fullback as seen when he played against reds at fullback. He is quick but he isnt strong enough to be at wing since opposing backliners tackle him very easy due to his size.
