I was privileged to see this on preview night & opening night on Broadway i believe in 1978. I miss my dear friend

The Master as Tony Orlando used to call him perfusely. I understand his admiration for he surly was GREAT!!!!!

Ron Bruno I miss him too and you know they are strutting and dancing among the clouds.

I loved this so much as I singer I always admired him, but after seeing this I loved it that much more. Singers don't sing like this that much anymore. You were all terrific!! I hope I am lucky enough to meet him someday as the Bible promises.

I think we got the year wrong, I'm 99% sure this was a 1978 revival of the musical "Stop the World I Want to Get Off" that according to the Broadway Internet Database ran at the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center from Aug 03, 1978 to Aug 27, 1978

More charm than Dean, better vocal technician than Frank, a more commanding presence than Lawford, and funnier than Bishop. Total package.

How can he sing so clearly while dancing? I dont know any of todays singers that could do ANYTHING like this!!! All you hear from todays singers is huffing and puffing or just pure out of tune singing whioe dancing!!
