I've watched this show more times than I can remember and in my opinion, Sammy Kershaw was the absolute best performer in the entire show. He didn't try to change the song, just sang it and the band was excellent; as far as I'm concerned, it was perfect. Love, love and love!

I worked back stage at a concert he had in Nashville Indiana. We always had a catered meal for the stars and their crew and we all ate together. I was standing alone when Sammy came up and began talking to me like I was the most important person in the room. He's a genuinely nice person.

Many years ago he played at a bar in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada . A friend and I were standing to the side of the stage where he was. After his set, he came over directly to me and asked if I was having a good time! I couldn’t believe it...of course I was and I was singing along with every song he played. What a sweetie !

@@johnnyjames1202 I might after 12 concerts, lost meet and greet pass before I could use. It he was at this place in Weber City Va ( for free ) so I was attempting to walk. There maybe a quarter mile give or take I only had maybe a couple blocks left ( I didn't make it I spent the night in our lovely Duffield (Hotel) Regional jail for public intoxication) so lets fast forward to March 9th 2018 at Cotton Eyed Joe's in Knoxville, TN for my 51st birthday ( 3-10-68) so the next day was my b- day and Sammy Cancelled because he was really sick which I totally understand but that weekend cost me personally oh 7- or 800.00 dollars because for 1 I live 3 hrs away.But I could write u a novel on just Sammy lol

He was gorgeous. I miss that Sammy. Love him.

Saw him in concert in Knoxville best show I ever saw

Country music died in the year 2000. From there on it's only quick buck. I can't bear listening to the Top 40. After 15 minutes I have to switch it off. It tears my nerves. At least I have a bunch of American Country Countdown recordings from the 90. They will help me to survine this modern day electro-guitar country shit.
