They sound incredible. Absolute justice to the brothers Van Halen. Joe is paying tribute 100% and just killing it. These are BIG shoes they are trying to fill.

Thanks for posting. I was there, and it was an amazing show. Joe did a great job. So "gratified" that I came to YT comments to learn that the great time I had last night with legendary musicians playing amazing songs, was really not what it seemed. To hear these folks, Joe was terrible, Mikey's voice was shredded, etc. Thank you for your important contributions to my musical knowledge and enjoyment. "Truly."

These guys are keeping our music alive, and they sound FANTASTIC! Joe is an amazing player, and if I can't hear Edward do it, or his Son.... then Joe is the guy I want to see and hear live. Joe is Smoking it! And Sammy STILL sounds incredible at almost 77. Amazing. But hey - you can't fix dumb.

tremendous and for the haters not sure whats the issue. Pay homage to the music and the genius of EVH. Most people forget this is Sammy legacy also. He wrote all the lyrics for all the songs from the 4 albums he was on so his right is to play them. Band do a great job well worth going to see. Legends all of them.

While no one can ever touch Eddie and Alex playing Van Halen Joe and Jason do a great job paying tribute.

It seems that Joe (68) and Jason (58) are the only ones who's joints haven't stiffened up. Sammy sounds great, but he seems like he's not feeling to well. :O(

Got to give them credit and a bunch of great musicians doing it but, for me if its not Eddie playing his compositions himself it just feels like watching a cover band.

Yes, because lots of cover bands have a founding member and the lead singer, songwriter for their most successful era. Not to mention a guitar legend, a drummer who's played with numerous big bands. The "cover band" label is lame.

I know I'm probably not the only one that feels this way, but I just think Joe Satriani was not the right choice for this tour..... Should have found some unknown that can play all Eddie's licks perfectly. Joe just puts his own spin on it and it just doesn't have the same impact for a tribute reunion type show. Joe's good in his own right but doing Eddie's thing. It's just not his style. It's not in his. Wheel House.🥱
