Just proves the vocals of Van Halen were, all Michael Anthony. Love that guy!!

Sammy has that secret weapon in his pocket called Michael Anthony! Great base playing and backing vocals!

Big respect to Sammy and how he treats his supergroup of musicians, specially Michael and we all know how shitty he was dealt with in VH. Good to know he is well looked after with Sammy Hagar.

Because dude. At one point Gary cherones manager had become the bands manager and he hated mike. Called him the luckiest man in the world. This manager was also Alex Van Halen’s brother in law

First off Sammy is a badass. He has elevated himself to this point where almost everybody wants to talk to him. That is major cred. Personal edit... I actually met him when I was 17 years old I got on stage and he literally threw me off stage. Sammy please get in touch. I love you!!!!!!!! Best moment of my life. You try that now, it will not work lol.

Sammy has a bulletproof rock voice. Amazing! Michael Anthony is spot on with the back ups. Killer band, tight!

I met Zakk at a Loves Truck stop near Lodi California last year. He was down to earth and seems like a happy guy. Always laughing and joking around.

At 75 Sammy still got them vocals and energy on stage. One of the greatest musicians in my lifetime.

Zakk is a superb musician with a great attitude towards fans. Stephen Pearcy is a legend and still has that voice.

When someone has a lifetime of amazing performances you just don't expect to see one of the best when they're 75 with a song they made when they were 65.

Sammys got so much energy and unlike most vetran rockers still has his own hair and the voice is still there

Sammy Hagar is AMAZING!!!

I can't believe Sammy is 75 years old. I saw his birthday performance at Cabo Wabo on AXS TV, and I did a double take like what? He's 75? From all the years of hard partying and even relentless touring, most rock stars look haggard even in their 50s.. but Sammy genuinely looks like hes in good shape and doesn't look like he's in his mid 70s. I would've thought maybe he's like mid 60s. Time has def been good to Sammy. I never really been a big fan of him, but he is still an awesome musician. I dug his body of work from his days in Montrose. He's a low key shredder on guitar and can still sing. You watch some of those live performances like live without a net and sammy used to give Eddie a run for his money when it came to playing solos back and forth, bouncing licks off of each other.

Michael Anthony should be the ultimate #1 Bass/Vocal Man. He's simply STILL ridiculous, at his age.

I seen him at rockfest in 1995 at the awesome WW1 memorial..Those rocjkest up there were fantastic.. Tesla, candlebox, collective soul, meat puppets, craccker, seven mary three, soundgarden....etc etc..

I'm loving this series. Sammy is the coolest dude on the planet.

Michael Anthony might remember this. I was in a band called Yankee Rose we played concerts with Van Halen back in the day. And I also played in a band called Angel and we played the same bars VH did like The Connection in Pomona and Louies Night Gallery in Covina. Eddie would come to see us play to see our guitar player Jimmy Bates.✌
