This is one of my favorite things I've ever filmed. This performance was so beautiful and spellbinding.

I didn't find them overly emotional. This was an important night for JP. This show was at his alma mater in front of family and friends. His musical mentor opened for them and JP was honored with a music scholarship in his name. He seemed very humbled and appreciative. I have been so lucky to see them live so many times. All of their shows have been so special, but a few songs have literally nearly knocked me over on first listen. This was one of them. I'm glad I was sitting down. Breathtaking.

This is THE BEST song they ever wrote, and it's the best performance of that song. Perfect illustration of why they were SO amazing and inspirational and moving. They will be missed.

I can't imagine singing this song onstage with someone I wasn't speaking to off stage. How incredibly hard! It makes it all so much more tender and raw. Just a gorgeous performance of a beyond words song. I hope they can find healing somewhere.

This song nearly moves me to tears every time I hear it....most heartbreakingly beautiful song they've written, along with "Eavesdrop" and "Poison & Wine". Those three get to me every time I hear them......

They seem to be getting along pretty well here. This was October, 2012. Wasn't it a month later in November, 2012, in Europe somewhere, that they cancelled their tour? I never got to see them live. If they did tour again, imagine how hard it would be to get tickets!

Tim SingsToo You should watch their set at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. They seem to be getting along like a house on fire. Super happy. Odd that they weren't getting along during the recording of the album a month or so before but then suddenly are getting along fine here and then on hiatus a month later.

Gloomy weather in Wales is the best.

I was there that night. Was totaly shocked at the ensuing breakup. Hope they can find a way to get back together

The way she keeps looking at him, as though she is pleading with him kills me. After reading the more recent interviews with Joy, it sort of makes sense, I suppose.

This is heartbreaking to listen to. But thank you so much for posting this! I am so very happy that I got to see them live last year in Michigan. It must be so hard for them. They are my favorite duo.

wow, you can see the tensions a little, JP barely looks at joy when he's singing and they stand further apart than usual, beautiful music.

Ya. After reading the interviews, their on stage presence looks completely different.

I'm hearing this song in a very different context now that The One the Got Away and Dust to Dust have been previewed. Joy's right - what's going on with the band is all there. And it feels like they're breaking up with us as much as each other. At an impasse, at best. Ugh.

Anybody know what kind of guitar he is playing? It looks like an old Gibson L-5, possibly modded a little?

It was shortly before they broke up, so maybe that had something to do with it.
