i remember when i was growing up in the 80s in paranaque, Samboy Lim was the byword among the kids in the neighborhood ...every kid who put on a sneaker would want to be like Samboy Lim....

My goal and consuming passion, is to archive some of the games of my idol Samboy Lim, who I believe, is one of the best, ever to play in the PBA. I want to preserve the memories of those daredevil and acrobatic shots - which were "magically delicious", not just for those fans who witnessed his skywalking, but more importantly, for the present and the future generations

sana upload ninyo yung NCC games lalo na yung champion sila sa Jones Cup - ganda sobra nang game ni Idol SAMBOY LIM doon eh. I am sure a lot of pinoys would like to see that game one more time. salamat po tagahanga

I played with and against Samboy at the Letran gym and the gym rats that live there. Very humble guy with a great sense of humor. Can dunk two b-balls in one jump. Very strong grip. Samboy had a fantastic work ethic and made sure he was always in great shape. His weakness was the chicks. Can’t blame him.

Sa international competition, dyan lalo pa magaling si Samboy, he and Allan Caidic were our national treasures.

during those times whenever samboy lim and elmer reyes leads the fastbreak, it's a sure 2 points.

@junjorxful as i remember. nanalo tayo ng bronze nung 1998.. when tim cone coached the centennial team. composed of patrimonio, meneses, johnny a, lastimosa, caidic, etc. but they're still not the pba stars of today.. so mukhang tama nga na the batch of 2000's still has to prove about their abilities in internayional competition.

Mas sarap nood nung game time ni Carlos Loyzaga lagi Asian Champion at nsa Olympic lagi at the only Asian country ang Pinas naka 3rd place World Basketball Championship sa Brazil in 1954l.

Sayang si Samboy medyo hindi pa tanggap ng Pinoy ang laro nya.noong araw kasi pag magaling babalyahin yan ng mga kalaban.Noon kasi if you cant beat the man.Destroy the Man.

Pro dahil sa 80's or earlier era, nagkakaroon tayo ng real legends. Walang katulad. Puro firsts. First trigger man. First Skywalker. First the captain. Etc. Walang pwedeng pumalit. Eto Yung mga laro na may PUSO tlaga. Skywalker is for me the best. Pag dating sa 3 pts, syempre wala pa ring tatalo Kay triggerman.
