If you are a judo player invest in learning butterfly guard, use grip fighting to the inside and getting around shoulders / under hooks. Judo skills transition great to this game - 6x judo national champ USA brown belt in bjj

Dude, you're good. It is really amazing to watch. As a (retired) judoka, the moves themselves, apart from the leg locks, aren't exactly completely new, but the level of detail on how you control your arms, hips etc, in every situation, is truly amazing grappling. The lightspeed breakdown, is your humoros style, but forces me to pause, or rewatch. 😊

Here’s something that can change your way of life or thinking. This is the most important thing you will hear/read today. If you’ve told one lie, stolen anything, or lusted (which is adultery of the heart), you’ll be found guilty on Judgment Day and end up in Hell. But there’s good news: Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus, the prophesied Messiah, perfectly kept the Law, fulfilling all righteousness. He paid the fine for sinners ( that we could never pay ) by suffering and dying on the cross-absorbing the wrath of God that we deserve. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. Today, repent and trust Jesus; God will grant you forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. God bless God bless ❤❤

I'm about to start judo and the dojo that teaches it teach no gi grappling as well. I'm gonna learn them both so I can be just as dangerous on the ground as I am on on my feet.

@@slickwilly6868 Sounds good, but no-gi is not that essential to stand-up or ground game. It is just different. Sure, you have more options with throws, but you also have a few more submission/pin options. It's just a different philosophy.

People need to realize that there is no such thing as the ultimate style. It all depends on how it is taught. Also, students each come to their own conclusion about the style. How they use it depends on how they find ways to adapt it to their needs.

You all must be on a different level you're like I don't really do foot and leg locks but I'll casually submit a sambo champion. Also I like it when I find myself in some of the positions you were in you didn't like. But all in all it must be another level, I mean I wouldn't mind getting an arm drag and then bring their other hand to frame but you didn't like it.

When your opponent has his leg on the outside like that don’t try to get closer to him. Give him distance (he won’t be able to use his foot to block your hip) and grip under his calf. Be ready to drop your knee in case he dives through. Duck your head under his leg so that his leg is now to your inside. (watch some of Adam Satiev’s highlights).
