Samantha Woll Trial -- Closing arguments in murder trial
Michael Jackson-Bolanos, 29, is charged with first-degree murder, home invasion, and lying to a peace officer after he allegedly stabbed Woll in her Detroit home in October 2023. She was found dead outside her residence in the 1360 block of Joliet Place.
Jackson-Bolanos was arrested several weeks later amid speculation that Woll's murder was a hate crime due to her position within metro Detroit's Jewish community. However, Detroit police said later on they don't believe that to be the case.

Lying about stealing cars is not the same as murder.
He DID NOT do it. A petty thief yes , a murderer No
This guy is being railroaded.
This attorney is a beast. He's even convincing the judge!! #AttorneyBrownGOAT!!!
I would have to vote "NOT GUILTY" due to the Prosecution not proving their case beyond a reasonable doubt.
Brilliant defence by the Rastafarian.
Not enough evidence to convict... Not guilty. period...

Me too. There is reasonable doubt all over this case, even despite the best evidence of the prosecutor's two specks of blood found on the sleeve of his coat while the rest of his clothes and shoes were NOT soaked in blood only minutes after the murder and while he was captured on camera leaving the area heading home.
Why would he stab her 8 times to just run away? That's over kill. Hmmm...I say a crime of passion. Ex-boyfriend. Where is evidence on him of that much blood? What was his motive? The prosecution case is weak.
That guy on the tablets killed her
So he stabbed her 3x on the side of the neck through the hoodie, that means she was lying down on the side of her face or sleeping, in which case he didnt hve no reason to kill her. Plus nothing was missing in her home, so what was his intend to go in her home? He’s a thief after all but he dont steal nothing from an entire house! Yall need to stop playing!

Bright? Yes. Hardworking? Amazingly so. Annoying if you listen to him day after day? Yes!! The last high-profile case he represented the cousin (Zion Foster case) who sexually propositioned and then killed his 14-year-old (IIRC, she was a minor not sure about age) cousin when she refused his advances. Bryan Brown defended him just as vigorously using every trick to get him off.

Prosecution did provide proof that he did this. Where is the timeline because it takes longer than 30 minutes for a body to be " cold & crusty" as he stated was the condition when he touched her body. Why was the ex-boyfriend about to wet his pants when the lady officer spoke to him in his car that night. He was to panicky & not to mention his admitting he did it. He was scared to death & his hesitation on the stand when asked questions.
Why would she keep the door open in winter ? Maybe waiting on someone that went wrong ? This is a confusing case

What? Why not rob him? Did you not pay attention to the testimony what he was interested in doing which was breaking into cars and stealing? He did not have any weapon to rob anyone for one thing; and secondly, had he robbed anyone he would have been the likely suspect in the victim's murder. Your point in your argument makes absolutely no sense. You are asking why he did not rob someone? That's funny.
So after she got home from the wedding she got situated and comfortable by changing clothing, prepared get cosy for the couch with a hoodie on? She supp had on 3 layers of clothing?
