Enjoying this great song!!! July 2024 present!!

That is my grand dad right there. He was making gospel and blues and putting out a solo album around this time so he had a lot of music in his head and he hadn't played this song in a while so he messed few parts up a little but he and the band did great. He didn't play guitar in the band when they originally recorded this song. He played keyboard and sang in the pharaohs.

Who cares about the screw ups??? He’s the original singer of that song and as the original singer he has all the right and privilege to sing it however he likes! Don’t miss the point here... They’re jamming their heart out to a classic hit!!! The crowd loved it, the band loved it & Sam The Sham Rocked it!!! That’s all that matters...

So cool. I was kid and Sam the Sham was the best. I heard he ran a fishing boat in the gulf later in life.

Totally badass!! First album I ever got as a kid, won it playing monopoly.

I see Sam the Sham play the guitar in this clip. He usually plays the keyboards. A few years ago, I saw him being interviewed on a religious program where he played the guitar and sang religious songs.
