I love it when an actor wins because his performance was Oscar worthy and it was acknowledged.

I knew he would win the second Three Billboards ended, and before I even found out he was nominated. An INCREDIBLE performance. Truly.

I was just watching the movie and googled if he won an Oscar for it!

Since The green mile I felt in love with this man, he's an amazing actor.

Yas!! This will open so many doors for him.

For years and years and years I've been waiting for this guy to get an oscar, ever since I first saw him in Green Mile and then Galaxy Quest - he has range (much like Giovanni Ribisi). So happy for him!

Moon did it for me, watch it. He was just so good in it.

I really wish is Willem Defoe...Although Sam Rockwell is amazing in "Three Billboard"....

He should have won in Moon (2009) so it was just a matter of time.

Its one of my fav sci-fi movies and its the whole thing is just him and Spacey's voice.

he was great in way way back and amazing in green mile and so many great Performances and for this film he killed that character but they don't do it alone . Frances and woody helped him a lot but so deserve to be a winner 👏👏👏
