Swift I think she was great. But let me reword what I’m saying, he didn’t actually start signing and he got four chair turns. While she didn’t “sign a WORD” and got four chair turns, she was still signing. Just running a line instead of singing words. No one had a clue of what his singing voice would be like before getting chairs turned. My point isn’t how fast the chairs turned, a couple people got faster chair turns. My point was that he had yet to actually start signing.

This is my favorite audition of any talent show across any country across any genre.. this dude is amazing

It gets even deeper when you realise that he has to build up a track at fist before he can even start to sing... and then you push a button to stop it all and it is gone. Each track you create is a live performance you can not do a second time exactly the same. Watching this live must be a whole different story :)

I love how humble and confident he seems at the same time. He crushed this season while pushing himself to high levels of difficulty

Sam Perry was just incredible and i believe he won it all. Amazing performer. I have seen all his sets on the show and THIS ONE is my absolute fav. He blew the ROOF off the place with that song.

Not only his music playing,but his vocal take as well.Incredible talent. Also it was a unique take on the song.

Not only is he skilled in looping and also have an amazing voice, but the over all performance is so energetic, the way he moves and feel the music, so authentic. I would give him a 20/10 rating.

You can feel, that 100% of his energy going into this!

I'm 51 years old and this song not only brings memories to me but actually performed by a young chap... Well done Sam!

I still get chills when I listen to this. I really appreciate his wonderful musicality. Always push the limits of what you do or we won’t advance.

A great pure artist connected to the highest energy. This is my favourite performance of his. I don't like any of his other performances on the show that much (I love them too but man, this is another level). I think it's because he let other people to choose the songs. Not a critiscism. It's just that I want more of this.

It's 2021 and i still listen to this at least once a week

I've watched this video probably 50 times and its still amazing and the reactions of the judges is just satisfying and seeing how everyone lit up. Sam is so badass and a phenomenal looper, vocalist and musically brilliant.

I remember watching this. I'm a DJ and as a DJ I was impressed with what he did that whole season. As an American, I was impressed with his willingness to break the mold and do his thing. He made Australia bend to him.

That smile on George's face is awesome. It's like he was back in the 80s with Prince! Love it.

Imagine being a competitor after him. I'd just turn around and walk out of the building 😂

I’ve read a lot of comments on Sam, and I want to educate some of you! The show is called The Voice! Everything he is doing, he is doing with his voice! Yes he is using what is called a Looping Machine, which is a instrument of some sort! Nobody says anything when someone is playing a guitar or playing a keyboard while singing, but y’all wanna hate on someone who is ACTUALLY USING HIS VOICE AS A INSTRUMENT! Key word on that sentence is his VOICE! The reason the the Queen complains is because Sam didn’t choose him because the Queen wanted him and to win! The other contestants complained because they knew he reeks in talent and NOT one of them can’t do what he just did! Sam....haters are gonna hate! Your unique, your controversial, nobody knows what to do with you! Your in a league of your own! I think it's just cause it's not common and thus could be viewed as "gimicky." Like they all turned before they even heard his full singing voice. Also there's a lot of extra "sound goodizer" effects he can add to his voice so isn't really on the same playing field as someone with a normal mic covering a tune. He's crazy talented, but I kind understand destain people have for him on a show like the voice.

How the fuck is using a machine cheating?? What, other singer are singing a capella? nope...they have a machine playing the instrumental...or in some cases a band playing it... So this guys records samples of his voice, plays it back and then sings on top of it and he's a cheater? Not even mentioning that it is SO MUCH harder than just singing on top of the instrumental...he can make a mistake soooooo easy...but HE DIDN'T... He has such a unique voice...Sympathy for the Devil with AP - he killed it by SINGING... Anybody saying anything against him is just butthurt because he really killed The Voice and showed real talent! And got a deserved win!

He is so awesome. I saw all of his acts during The Voice and I absolutly understand why some people cry out loud for him. He is using a machine and it's unusual but it's not against the rules. He won because he was the best and the one with the most original character for making music. It's boring to see ordinary singers every time in this show. Some have great and unique voices and are highly talented but sometimes even that is not sufficient. Sam did something new and like Kelly said: "You are changing the entire game!"

They need to sing more songs like this for the auditions instead of the same 5 songs that are popular these days. There are so much to choose from throughout the last 5 decades

This is the one video I can re-watch a 1000 times and it still be good!

What's interesting that even considering his talent, he doesn't hold a candle against those guys there when it comes to looping. He can sing way better than them tho

@@QuestionableAdviser_ Yes.. This device is known as Looper. If U Use the Looper with mixer (basically used by DJ's) will be illegal. But he is using Looper to record his own voice and Playing it without any mix.. He is just setting the pitch correctly. So, I don't think It should be Controversial.
