"For my third pro skate from USD I've designed another skinned Aeon 60. In an effort to make my skate more sustainably sourced I’ve this time chosen a Vegan / PU leather. I’ve been extensively testing various types of Vegan / PU leather skins over the course of the last 18 months and I’m very confident what we’ve come up with is even better than the real suede/leather used on my previous skate. I was fortunate that the release of this skate coincided with the release of my first aftermarket pro MyFit second skin liner, which will also come with this skate as standard. The liner follows the same classic MyFit second skin silhouette, but has been constructed with upgraded materials; a super hardwearing vegan suede exterior to prevent any holes caused by abrasion or pressure points from the inside of the skate to give the liner an extended life. I added a very comfy recall innersole for extra comfort on longer session and I rounded it off with a classic 14 wale corduroy top to match my favourite pants, embroidered with my signature geometric fox. We also upgraded the wheels, the skate now comes with the premium Undercover Apex 60mm wheels and Wicked Abec 9 bearings for super fast bowl and park skating, making this my fastest and highest spec pro skate yet! The final films are great, but thanks so much for releasing the brutal b-rolls. Very educational and inspirational to see pros analyze spots, talk through tricks before executing, and get up from falls to try again.

We need more of these. Nothing gets me more pumped to go out and skate than a clean and impressive Edit. But nothing gets me more in the mood to put in the hours of work than a broll watching pro’a destroy themselves for that one trick landed. It’s a solid reminder of how they got to be so good in the first place.

That first bail was intense. I don’t think I have enough time to watch this whole hour long video. I’ll have to come back and watch it later. Thanks for uploading it USD!

I remember commenting about that fakie roll on that crappy curb which was the craziest trick of the promo edit for me. Watching the B Roll now makes is sooo much more mental. The surface is so rough 😧 Also that gap in the subway stairs, I didn't remember the trick, what a knee destroyer. And he tried like 20/30 times.

Even though i did like this video, i still don't understand why he did this disaster soul grind that almost hurt him really bad, especially when the result is impressive in term of danger but not that much in term of style. Anyway, the negative acid is fire 🔥🔥

This is a very iconic spot in London. Lots of very famous skaters in the UK have made their mark on it over the years, this is Sam’s current angle on it. Style is deffo a personal preference, but if you get the chance to see the spot in person, I think the rawness of the attempt would make sense 👍

I’m not sure what you mean? It’s the kind of trick that’s right on the edge of being possible and also absolutely terrifying. I think it looked good but it’s also borderline impossible - almost every big hammer in skating has a bit of sketch in there. I’ve skated my whole life and I’ve never hit that spot. It’s proper elite level stuff.

  • @gwendallkessler840

@@myeline Well what i mean by lack of style is the way the huge speed and small grinding distance made sam unable to really get on the grind which is the aspect i did not like about it. Appart from that i reckon that this must have been incredibly difficult to do, but i'm more into style personnally, but it's only my opinion and i know that some of you did really liked it, and i respect that.
