super underrated artist
IMHO, Sam totally and completely BLOWS AWAY the other female singer/songwriters mentioned here in every way imaginable.
It's fantastic to listen to her version of this song and Maria McKee's back to back. Both incredible singers who wrote it together but then recorded their own versions for their own albums.

@@britva817 hi, all I can say is it was a coup to have an artist like Sam use my little 16 track studio. When her (and Robins) studio was finished (teapot studio in Perth) I visited and recorded there, a great privilege.

@@britva817 as I remember, Sam and her brother Pete recorded a tune for a movie being made in Holland, I still have a copy of the recording, but have never heard it anywhere else, not sure if it is on any cds.🎶they don't know I'm watching 👀🎵🎤the first line is, how far does a river flow..🎶

@@beatbrat33 Thank you for sharing these memories! As far as i know there was movie called "Ad fundum" released in 1993. Sam performed two songs for its soundtrack, you can listen to them on my channel: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4mmqJilftG7Zqg.html and kzread.info/dash/bejne/hH6nmtd-qqiceZc.html . Maybe you're talking about one of them?

I really thought was good as Sam never ducked or swerved any any questions so clearly comfortable with it. I s that not what a GREAT interview is about?. Anyway, glad we both got great appreciation for Sam, Given the choice and chance, I'd have sold AT LEAST 1 kidney to be in the same room as her.....
