Thanks brother!!
A little late to the party, but FYI, the lead wire and midge line can be found anywhere that sells fly tying supplies. You can also use bead jewelry wire from any craft department (WM) and don't know if any still exist, but Radio Shack used to have spools of electrical project wire that had insulation that was the perfect diameter and would slip over lead or copper wire easily.
That looks good! Can't wait for the next episode!
Very nice job. That is a lot of extreme detail. I'm not into Nascar, but I'll be watching this build.
Great video, D-Ran!

Hi Grump ! Just an FYI that piece you altered to make an oil tank is actually a Kool Box It's usually right behind the drivers seat. There's a video here that shows a great picture of it... kzread.info/dash/bejne/maCak66LptXRqsY.html Great job with this build so far !!

Thank you for the compliment, it’s been a really fun build so far. In regards to the tank and the video you shared. The video is actually two years old, I will admit that it does look a lot like to the cool box but I have actually seen the the next Gen drawing and that tank that goes behind the firewall is indeed the oil tank. I’m not saying that there’s not a “KoolBox” system on the car but if there is, it will not be located behind the rear firewall. I’m going to inquire about the “new” location of the KoolBox and get back to ya.

@@GrumpyModeler Thanks I'd appreciate the info on that, I'm also still trying to figure out what part G-17 is Lol !
D-Ran, what are you using for your oil line fittings?

Terry, I actually bought those from a guy in Japan last year. They are made of resin and are VERY brittle. I’ve found that the Detail Master compression fittings and braided line work much much better.
