Great video guys, love watching yall. Yall should try" Parabol/ Parabola " Must be heard together. If you want a deep one, go for Wings for Marie pt1 & 10,000 days. These 2 songs are Maynards goodbye to his mother after she passed away (RIP Judith Marie) after 10,000 days of being partially paralyzed from a brain aneurism. She was very devout christian, and even though her condition she remained faithful. Maynards expression of his emotions on this is truly a masterpiece. These are also 2 songs to be heard back to back in one sitting. Can't wait for more videos 👍

Play them Lateralus. I think it might blow their mind.

whole album please!

To be fair you could go through the entire Tool-Discography, i'ld be here watching it. Just, if you do, please keep the duo's or triplets in mind and play them in succession as in: Disposition, Reflection, Triad and Wings for Marie & 10.000 Days or Parabol-Parabola.

I so hope you stick with this album for a minute. Something special about them at these young ages showing their chops. Every album has a theme and each song is a story. Once you're hooked, going from start to finish feels compelling. Imagine how much each of us has changed since the 90s. Also, love your reactions. Both fun and intelligent. Really hard to find in reactors. BTW, the best reactors are also real tools (conduits). Sticking around for more Tool.

Lost keys/Rosetta Stoned!! If they want to follow a lyrical story that’s definitely one to follow! It’s best if they have the lyrics to read along though.

They changed bass players the next album and really rounded out thier sound… and only made an album every 5 to 13 years … so they really put out perfection from Lateralus on

Maynard James Keenan loves a double entendre so the fact the band can be a Tool for your enlightenment whilst also being a dick joke pleases him I think 😆

Was kinda touched on earlier, but I'll say it again...UNDERTOW was Tool's first "full length" LP. Their earlier work was on OPIATE, an EP, and is just as much more raw compared to Undertow as Undertow is to their later works.

Jambi gets my vote. It's the Tool-iest!

I think Maynard would appreciate "the turd eye". The official word on the band name, is that Tool wants their music to be a tool to help get you to wherever you need to be.

They have said the name of their band is in relation to being a "tool" to bettering yourself. You have it right. I like to think that like a tool it is in the hands and the imagination of the user to determine its use. This also describes the philosophy of the band very well. They were an enigmatic band with strange album cases with mystical symbols / art in them. I didn't know what they even looked like for years. The ONLY thing I had was the music & then some very trippy and disturbing videos.

Never seen anyone compare Hotel California to Prison Sex but fair play 😅

Technically Opiate was an EP the LP 72826 Demo Cassette was from 1991 and has their earliest works. They gave them out to college kids on the street 😂
