Exactly 70% of my audience is outside North America! So I’m very aware. I’m working on those details now, but yes. I want to find a way to include everyone, worldwide. At the very minimum I’d be happy to give my video consultation to anyone across the world instead of the physical prize. Which I’m sure would be disappointing to some, but it’s something!

I don't do woodworking and never had an interest in it. I don't even know why your videos were suggested to me by KZread. But, I am so glad I watched the first one. I am totally hooked and learn so much from watching. Whether I will be able to use that knowledge for woodworking, may never happen. Don't let the negative Nancy's bother you! People are so brave over the internet and say things they'd never say in person. I value the time and work you put into the videos and things you make as I'm sure most here do, otherwise they wouldn't be subscribed. Good luck on 1,000,000 subs, I will be here to witness it!

Honestly people that are complaining just don’t know what they are talking about. This guy is leading the industry in epoxy furniture. His work is very clean, efficient and beautiful and all his furniture seems like it’s extremely high quality. This stuff isn’t easy. Especially when you have thousands of dollars on the line.

I stopped for the epoxy tips…I stayed for the commentary and honesty. You don’t talk too much. All the comments on minor mistakes and some issues, are the best part of the videos. The Wood products are amazing too.

I love the random stuff you do put in reverse like the plastic on the table 😂. You’re a wizard. Also thank you for adding everything you use in the description it’s helped me out a ton of times

You're absolutely right there was nothing at all wrong with that video, guess what 50% of the human community has a similar void and 50% doesn't what is the mystery or embarrassment, everyone knows there is a difference get over it, be a kid look at life as a mystery and have fun. Growing up and having too much self sanctity is boring.

What's funny is that I really enjoy the constant commentary

Couple ideas for prizes: finish process set (buffer and pad, rubio monocoat, ceramic coat, etc); c-chanel and/or leg set. Love the humor and troll bits. And obviously the woodwork.

The value of a work of art depends on where people look at it. For me this is a high work of art.

I subbed to you after literally watching one video. I enjoy the talking rather than music or tool sounds. I'm not even into wood working or carpentry. I'm a concrete guy. But for some reason thses make me relax alot after working 10 hrs a day!

I really love the edges with a live edge/straight edge mix. Seeing this, I now think that mixing the two may be the most attractive way to do either. I really like how the finished feel is a blend of rustic and modern. Such a clean, beautiful look.

I love that you used elm. Where I live in Atlantic Canada, we've had many elm trees succumb to Dutch elm disease. As a woodworker that really prefers to use wood sourced from blow downs and diseased trees, I've used it a lot. It has a beautiful grain structure, and definitely doesn't get the love it deserves. Oh, and of course, beautiful work as always.

I don’t mind your talking on the video. I cling to your every word. I find it informative and entertaining. Keep talking.

Don’t change a THING you’re doing with these videos. You’ve hit a perfect formula. The finished products speak for themselves, but your running monologue brings your audience through the process brilliantly. Thanks also for your acknowledgement of the time it takes, and how new woodworkers like me can see a 20 or 30 minute video and get lolled into thinking the process is that compressed in real life. You said not to worry if your projects take hours or days. Mine take weeks and sometimes months and its easy to think you pros are superhuman!!

I think your sense of humor is awesome as hell. I’d say the ones criticizing you for it, are the ones that spend $10K on a bookend. Not one of your creations that are bookend tables, no no. I mean the things used to keep books standing up when there aren’t enough to go from one side to the other on a bookshelf.

This was one of the best tables you've made so far imho. I love the texture of the elm wood. That was definitely felt like it gave it more depth. All this beautiful dark parts on the bright surface of the wood. I really like that it feels rather matt than glossy. Really enjoyed watching this video. Friendly challenge - I'd love to see you make more of your own bases for your tables. I think we have all seen your process on producing a top, however I've barely seen any videos where you make a complex base involving joinery. I think this could be a great opportunity to produce new content. I do understand how straightforward it is to just attach a metal base, and it also looks great, but some of the finer points & skills of woodworking come out when making the base for a table.

I hate watching videos that teach an art or a skill without any talking! Hearing the whys and hows help me understand. :)

I think the best gift would be the epoxy, as someone who’s is just trying to get into making a few epoxy items, the epoxy would be super helpful but the planner and other tools are a few levels above me and others like me. Love the videos keep it up!

Cam, what you produce time after time with your table & desks are nothing short of 'GREAT WORKS OF ART'. I am not a woodworker, I am a disabled former Senior Master of Art in South Australia. I majored in Sculpture, predominantly in wood, Design, Graphics & a few others. I now spend a LOT of time watching videos of people, like yourself, who work in wood. It gives me great enjoyment & takes my mind off of the constant pain. How people can be critical of your work is beyond me. You are an Artist & Craftsman of rare skill. This desk is another exceptional piece of 'work' but it does not seem to be 'work' to you. I hope to watch more of your videos well into the future. Stay safe & well my friend, Don from South Aust.

When I was a young kid growing up in St. Paul, MN in the early 1970''s the streets of our neighborhood were lined with 50 year old elm trees. The trees arching over the streets made each street a green cathedral. Then Dutch Elm Disease came through and the city cut down all the trees. It was heartbreaking.

Same here currently in SE WIs. Except they are all Ash trees, no more elms to take down. There are close to 150 Ash trees on 4 blocks. We have lost 20 to Ash borer so far and there is no end in site.

Cam, very interesting theory about connection between the name of the wood species and its popularity in woodworking. In Russia we call elm "Karagach" and it's the most popular wood specie in slab table industry. We have also two other names for elm: "Vyaz", "Elm". More interesting part is that lots of people heard about "karagach" slabs and "vyaz" wood but they don't know that it's the same wood specie.

Love the work you do! I love the equal opportunity approach to critics, made me laugh. I would have to say the helical head planer would be cool, but I actually have apiece of your art would be the best. Yes what he does is art. Great wok, great editing and voice over as well.

I've never met a man that isn't comfortable with his 12 year old side. I would think a small table would be most universal. On another note, that elm was beautiful. There were two in the neighbors yard where I grew up. We were constantly picking up after those trees. They drop small limbs by the bundle. My father wanted them dead. 🙂

I'm one of the women that still have my 12 year old side, the playful, adventurous, curious, tool-loving, creative, see-gold-in-what-other-see-as-trash side, and I just turned 59 a few days ago, and as every year my wish no 1 is: Please don't let me wake up one day and see that side gone!! And I get a need for cleaning my windows every week (instead of 1-2 times a year), and instead of having a great time with a golden sword-fight (2 useless sticks from the forest for most dull adults) with my neighbor's 8 year old son, with all the sounds like from an old Chinese Karate movie or build very long high-speed track for small cars from old water pipes, etc. On my 50th birthday, my ex and best friend gave me a new DeWalt drill and driver set as he knew I would say this to fx a Diamant ring: "You know I have a good glass cutter and why pay more than 10 dollars for new one? Give it back and let's find something a lot more useful for the money"! :D
