Salvador Dali: A collection of 933 works (HD)

Salvador Dali: A collection of 933 works (HD)
Description: "Salvador Dali is popularly known as Dali. He is hugely popular around the world for creating a new genre in art - surrealism. Dali is known for his strange, right in the eye bizarre images. Dali got strongly influenced by thoughts, ideas and artworks of the Renaissance period. Dali was eccentric by nature and he drew attention of his critics who remained mostly irritated by his weird antics and outrageous behaviour and public actions. Dali was passionate about style, statement making and luxury. There have been several films, sculptures and photography exhibitions carried pout by Dali in collaboration with other artists. Dali was an excellent draftsman who produced skilled technical drawings. Dali gave many art lectures around Europe. But his fame was greatly popular in the USA. Dali’s most famous paintings include “The Metamorphosis of Narcissus”, “Landscape Near Figueras”, “Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening” and “The Great Masturbator” which are some of his greatest symbolic art representations. Besides painting Dali indulged in writing and produced some great literary works like “The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí”, “Diary of a Genius” and “Oui: The Paranoid-Critical Revolution”. Dali created great many lithographs, etchings and graphic arts. Dali was a self proclaimed genius who is referred for his paintings even in the modern times."

    What happened to him in 1924 and 1925?!! He must of experienced something major because the worked changed into what we know Dali to be: what did he feel, absorb, take or borrow from that year or two that transitioned his entire style and view at that moment. Fascinating to watch it all reveal itself over time. Incredible job with these videos.

Dali was a complexed man and his art in lots of ways did represent his personality. He was unique in lots of ways with the art he produced for us all to enjoy and bring pleasure still. I also enjoy this music which is very relaxing. Thank You Craig : }

    The greatest painter. His early work was copy art, trying to find a voice. Midway he found it, and there were a few unparalleled master works. Later his work was a ghost of the past. It really leaves no second thoughts to whether it's his own works or not. The way he portrays things in his works, that isn't something which a variety of painters could accomplish. Cuz if that were the case, then one could at least think of whom he could've stolen the ideas/art works from. Which he didn't, cuz there is none like him.

    Beautiful collection of 933 paintings works Salvador Dali. Salvador Dali painted 1500 paintings.He became famous as a leading representative of surrealism, an eccentric artist and the owner of the most recognizable mustache in history.Not everyone knows that the artist, born in 1904, has designed furniture, lamps and exhibitions.I like this Spanish painter.

    He was a genius. Forced to sleep with the cadaver of his brother until he was 18 did a mind bender on him. He would close his eyes and painted the first thing he saw. Thats how he worked. Later years after suataining 3rd degree burns from his house fire, it changed. Met him while working for a gallery and selling his works. My fav is the drawers.....women who held so many secrets.

    He did not discover himself until 1925. Some turning point happened there. Before that year he was just a very average artist, experimenting different styles with not outstanding results. After 1924 he became a true, skillful artist, as he found his own style.

    My favorite artist. I am a Surrealist from High School. But, when I was off working a job in California in 1985 nearly all of my art was destroyed by family members that I guess thought I wasn't coming back. They said dogs or cats had been into it and defecated on it, I don't know. I believe if I could pull myself together long enough, and out of survival mode I could perhaps redo them from memory.
