This is timely. My Salter electronic scales that I purchased in John Lewis in 2005, finally gave up today ( March 2022 ). The plastic cushions on the pressure contacts broke. It seemed to work even with these removed .But if I weighed myself 3 times, I would get 3 different readings ( within 1.5kg range ). This range is unacceptable. So I have to look for a new scales.

We have to spend an hour to unscrew the battery cover. Who on earth would place such a tiny screw and we are not doing watch repair as a business.

What are plastic feet for? They come separate.

The feet are for use on Carpets, otherwise on hard floor surfaces do not use the feet!
