Salt Creek - Mandolin

Back to some fiddle tunes! Here's Salt Creek. To be honest, I'm surprised I hadn't already made a video of this staple tune!

I love your videos. They are the perfect speed and level of difficulty for me to really learn from them. I hope that you keep them coming. The tune choices are great also. Most are tunes I play already so I can really use your videos to take my playing to the next level.

Fantastic mandolin playing. Maybe you could play a slower version of each song for learning purposes.

Incredible! Great work. What kind of plectrum/pick do you use? I'm finding that I think my plectrum is keeping me from getting any faster.

I use a bluechip CT55! I’ve settled on this one and used it for years, although I’d probably benefit from branching out sometimes! 😂 Definitely worth finding a pick that works well for you!

Yes we play in Copenhagen on April 28. We would love to visit Sweden as well, but currently it’s not in the plans. Perhaps we should look into playing some shows there too!

@@phlipperbrooks129 She has that relaxed, swingy, feel. That is a lot harder to cop than her improv, for me anyways. I’m going to see if I can book a lesson.
