Agreed. My rotation went from mostly retro Nike sneakers to mostly New Balance and now I am researching which will be my first Salomon purchase. I actually prefer the xt4 to the xt6 as the 4s are a bit wider and have a silhouette that I appreciate better.

I’ve been looking for a pair and this was the review I needed.

I’ve got the Solomon outpost I assumed the would be a very comfortable sneaker but I find them not. Can you compare the feel of these to those?

My go to Salomon pair

Thank you for mentioning about the bump on the mid sole. I have very flat feet, I don't think these are for me. Looks amazing just not for my feet.

5:01 If I could add my experience if people are on the fence on sizing. Same. Got a tts and a 1/2 size up from Salomon direct (so I could return one). I have medium width feet. The tts definately fit, but it was snug on the sides, makes sense this is an athletic shoe. But I kept the .5 size up for the extra room especially accounting for feet swell after a long day walking. For anyone wondering, if you have regular width feet you could absolutely go either way just depends on how you like your shoes to fit & if you live in a hot & humid climate like me.

Would wearing thick socks make a difference? I'm thinking of using them everyday and I'm not sure if I should go TTS or half size up so thick socks for colder weather would be a go to. Looking to cop tomorrow!

I been wearin Salomon, Merrell and Double RL streetwear wise since mid Y2K n definitely see all 3 much more commonly now. Salomon always had a rugged vibe and back before kith was in the back of Atrium, most polo stores and atrium itself had a "Rugged" Polo section that went perfect wit the footwear.

Just copped the hidden salomons now I’m here! 🔥

Are the outsoles durable? Or do they wear out faster than normal sneakers? Say use them just for everyday wear on tiles, asphalt and concrete

I have a pair that wear out in the field a lot, and so far the outsole has been great.

I have bought a size 7 (40 2/3) and my feet, which are 25 cm long, fit good in the length. There is only a fingertip space between heel and back of the shoes. I feel a lot of heel sliding though, like they were a size bigger, needing to tidy them up way too much. Is it maybe because they are designed for a man type of foot, which is normally thicker? Said that, I am not that happy about these shoes. I think they should have diversified the models between men and women. Thank you for your excellent review. I found you today😊

Most of the CWs I want are sold out in my size.

If I have flat feet(Concerning Salomon sneakers) I wear should 9 1/2..should I go up a size or down a size
