Because Salos are great boots but they have outdated souls, and Aeons come with pretty much the best flat frames on the market. You update the souls on the Salos, and at the same time you also get a great flat frame. Win-win! Yes, you destroy a pair of Aeons, but who cares when you can buy the shells for €80-90 (the same price as a pair of Oysi frames for example).

Boni Hollóssy plus the of salos had soulplates combined with the frames. I imagine these where stronger/stiffer than the ufs frames. Chopping up aeons to make a these is like a updated version of that

An on a nother note sorry to say this aeons is a rip off when he shaved the skate did any one seen how thin is the plastic an stuff this skate is nuthink but worth 200$ the most aint nuthink spaceal a bout this skate its a scame
