Salesman Justin Hammer from Iron Man 2 (2010) - 1080p
Ойын-сауық
Although an adversary of Iron Man and owning a relatively incompetent Hammer Industries to Tony Stark's Stark Industries, Justin Hammer (played by Sam Rockwell) shows an amazing flair of a salesman in pitching his military product line-up with lot of mumbo jumbo to Colonel James Rhodes (played by Don Cheadle), esp. with the seemingly impressive, (but, actually dud) "Ex-wife."

These are the Cubans, baby. This is the Cohibas, the Montecristos. This is a kinetic-kill, side-winder vehicle with a secondary cyclotrimethlyenetrinitamine RDX burst. It’s capable of busting the bunker under the bunker you just busted - If it were any smarter, it would write a book. A book that would make Ulysses look like it was written in crayon. It would read it to you. This is my Eiffel Tower. This is my Rachmaninoff’s Third. My Pieta. It’s completely elegant. It’s bafflingly beautiful. And it’s capable of reducing the population of any standing structure to zero. I call it... the Ex-Wife.

IMO, it makes sense for him in-character. He's trying to sell something, so he's making it sound more impressive than it is. He was counting on his clients not realizing he basically just repeated himself. Kind of like how commercials will sometimes boast that research for their product included a double-blind study and count on viewers not realizing that that's less impressive than it sounds.

Edward Davian Aside from the unnecessary insult, the joke is clearly him trying to imitate Tony who fast talks through technical facts and is trying to impress two USAF officers who know all this shit and tries to sell them woefully inadequate weapons like the 9mm SMG or the shotgun instead of actual armaments that would fit a power armor like micro-missile batteries or laser cannons. And the Ex-Wife doesn't even work.

You'd think that, but think about what you see during the movie. He was caught selling to Iran in front of Congress. He willingly busted a guy who attempted to commit murder out of jail and faked a death just to try and get a foothold on arc reactor technology. He ignored the warning signs when he saw Vanko building drones instead of manned armor. Hammer wasn't some plucky guy aspiring to more, he was a dangerously unethical businessman.

I think this scene stands out as a brilliant parody of American culture. The setting is in an Air Force hangar and there's a huge Old Glory draped across the background. The capitalist salesman waxes away poetically with his ambitious, plucky and eloquently down to earth sales pitch in which he even calls Lt.Col Rhodes "baby". I also like the smoky blues rock soundtrack that's homegrown and evocative of the American southwest. I hope I didn't ruin it for anybody by describing it this way but I just love this scene.

It’s sad we never got Justin hammer again. He was amazing
Its funny when you realize that not only is he trying to impress soldiers with the funny names of his weapons, the way he is doing so like with the explosive, both the name and the acronym, means he is most likely reading off of a script and in doing so demonstrating how little he knows about his own product. In contrast to Tony who can charm a nun out of her underwear.

No wonder it failed to detonate at the end of the movie; It's a kinetic kill - IE meant to be fired from a moving vehicle - bunker-buster - IE makes a really fucking big boom - and Rhodey fired it point-blank from a standstill. If it's actually as smart as Hammer described, it probably didn't detonate because it detected that, if it did at that range, it would wipe out the operator, too.
