Enjoyed your spring walk in the woods, Jen! Too bad creepy people are encountered sometimes. Royce would have repelled them. You are teaching me about wild edibles; now I'll go look for some. Probably not eat any yet ;-) Maybe next time you'll find those elusive salamanders.

Scarlet elf cups, that's a new one for me, precurser to morels too? Good to know will keep an eye! Grow in same habitat repeatedly though. .No body guard, hub or Royce? Pepperspray? Be safe! Going for fiddleheads today, never alone! 😊

You’re searching for salamanders to EAT. My god woman, don’t you know how many you would have to catch, there’s no meat on them. 😂 (joking). I hope you’ve gotten better weather out there than we’ve had here in Alberta. Love seeing all the nature you can find.
