Not really he wasn’t wise and merciful as many Islamic leaders such as Ali or Omar ….. many thinks of Khalid ibn al waled as a hero but arabic sources mentioned atrocities committed against retreating enemy which not of human or Islamic value

And the standard bearer of the Messenger of God in this world and the hereafter.
