That takes knowledge of many factors that have little to do with the guy actually playing the game such as the game’s advertisement, the dev team’s history, etc. So yes, the guy has a point… one of which could be debated against with like I said, knowledge of the game’s ads and dev history. Pretty much the only reason I played Sakura Stand at all was because the animations were good and the abilities were cool. Then I realized just how convoluted and difficult it was to get those abilities. Once you realize that, if you are a regular 'person' you will quit, or if you are a blox fruit 'player' you will go deep into the depths of grind gamble simulator.

I remember playing Project JoJo (and even further back than that stuff like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PHANTOM) when standards for the JoJo scene were basically non-existent, and never really considered the possibility that a good portion of Roblox JoJo players have just never played Project JoJo. Considering that PJJ was basically the forefather of most of the bad things in the scene like Trellos, Stand Traits, insane level grind, and absurd boss spawn and item drop rarities (btw the items wouldn't spawn in specific points, they would just have a very low chance to drop in a RANDOM-ass place in the map), I wonder if it could be considered the "original sin" when it comes to the genre's bad and dirty habits that games like AUT and Sakura Stand keep crawling back to. TL;DR I bear witness to the repetition of history, I whose bones crumble against the pressures of time.

It definitely was PJJ that started it, but i think it was followed by ABD and pioneered this formula and "influenced" many of the jojo games today. Seeing as how ABD was so big back in the day and i dont really recall PJJ reaching those heights, though im not sure so feel free to correct me.

@@hanyo5789 honestly, what really made ABD for me was the community at its prime rather than the gameplay, though I can't say I didn't enjoy ABD gameplay either with how skilled I was back then on using TWOH. Jotaro can drop at the least 2 boxes if your unlucky and by yourself in a server. and at max you can get him to drop way more like 20 in publics where everyones attack him Each one of those boxes have a individual chance of 10% to be a special one (and you can get multiable special ones per Jotaro So its not 50 bosses to get 1 item its more of like 10 if you have alts or something to increase the amount of boxes jotaro drops Like im not saying that the chances are good, because they aren't, but yall are making them out to be impossible

every 1 hour and 30 minutes with a 10% chance for each and every one of the boxes to be a special box than a 20% chance to said special box to give the item but the chances are not 0.5% they are more like 2% ranging to higher the more players in the server attacking the boss ong people keep calling it 0.5% and thinking that straight up its THAT rare still 2% is still just super hard to do even if you can have over 15 boxes spawn at once, they gotta buff it from 20% to 50%

Sakura stand can't get defended anymore, on release sandevistan was a 0.7% to get the box, 7% to get an item that you can get multiple of (you need all 4 different items) from jotaro who spawns every 1h30 mins, and he costs ROBUX too to spawn, someone did calculations and it would end up taking a year, you have a higher chance to get cancer, but after almost a day of people probably spending robux to get it, then and only then did they put it to a normal rate kinda....but they should of never did that and it's still kinda p2w cuz it's a 10% to get box now and 20% to get one of the items that you can get a copy of and need the 4 different pieces, either wait 1h30mins or pay robux again to spawn

Fr. The grinding in some games is ridiculous. Exploiting is still prevelant because of these grindy games. Most scripts today found of forums people use to hack are legit just AFK farmers for these various games because people don't want to spend weeks grinding. And the worst part is... Some of these games are so grindy that even when people hack to speed up the process, it can still take months to see substantial progress. Let me repeat that: These games are so grindy, that people who legit break Roblox's ToS just to exploit the game to make it easier, that it still feels like a waste of time. There is something genuinely wrong with that. If there is that much grinding, it legit feels it'd be unhealthy to even play at that point.

Have yet to watch the vid, saw in my recomendations while watching one of your tca vids idk if it's because the update just released but tca has got some more players, I hope it keeps on growing so you can make more videos on that game, they're very fun (can't wait for the next build or bust)

Eclipse reminded me of something at 5:27 and not too glaze Deepwoken but the Deepwoken weekly update was larger than the sticky fingers rework at the time and I thought that was quite funny.

I personally play Sakura Stand and I can say that (at least for me) I've pretty much only enjoyed playing the game with my friends. the only reason that its any fun to do that in the first place is that we're all using highly op things and either teaming on each other and constantly coming back. the game is completely boring is you have nothing overpowers though. using any of the easily obtainable things is just unfun and frustrating because they're just complete garbage. the trading economy makes it near impossible to get anything of value and there's pretty much no skill behind the combos. it's quite literally just learn easy combo = win.

eclipse you should do a video on the new sandevistan in sakura stand, its arguably even worse than the aut asgore. its a 20% chance for an item from a box which is a 10% from a boss which spawns every 90 minutes (for a total 2%) and you need four unique items to get the quest for the spec (there is a basically negligible chance for the box from other npcs). also this are the buffed rates, on release the box was a 0.7% and a 7% droprate for the item in the box (for a total of about 0.049 per boss)

Yo eclipse great video. Little fun fact: In the time you made this video Sakura stand made a new spec that (and somebody did the math on this) takes 1.5 YEARS to grind for xd.

These new gen sakura stand players are mostly jjk fans, it caused me to develop kaisenism 💀. SS basically died as a jojo game ever since the jjk update got released, since there havent been any jojo content for a really long time. Old jojo spec/stands are left to die getting overpowered by many of the new none jojo stuff, old bugs on old abilities never being fixed, its a game where what you see people use most of the time are only the new stuff and almost never anything else. Spin, Hamon, Vampirism, SP, heck i havent even seen a single CD last year, you'll only see these old abilities being used by actual skilled players, but yet, they can still lose to the new stuff like MkVol and Sandevistan users that has less skill than them. "Just block that move, dodge that one" yeah you can do that, but the difference on how one mistake can damage you is really big. Messed up blocking or dodging a spin move? Ok, you're gonna get comboed once, wont do much damage, Oh? You failed to block or dodge or parry an Mkvol move? Fuck you, half your health is gone. It really ruins it for me, really hoped Fate never started making op specs.

If you make comments of a game you always play vs a game you saw on a yt video, you can't defend the game you always by comparing a GAME YOU'VE NEVER TRIED. Sakura Stand would have been good if the game didnt have GACHAS(you have to pay robux to have a actual chance of getting the thing you want from it) and also THE LOWEST CHANCES FOR ITEMS possible, which isn't needed at ALL. Also the specs in game are extremely unbalanced and braindead compared to older stands and specs.

As somone who played Sakura stand when it was payed access I can confirm it’s a grindy rng op specs hell, for example: midknight vol: it was a pain to get I would know I have it. It’s not only super annoying to get but when it first came out it had a ONE SHOT COMBO that is now fixed but if that wasn’t enough you are able to get 1500 MAX HP WITH A 5.3 DMG BOOST WITH MIDKNIGHT VOL it’s Insane.

I think you would be curious so here you go , according to HW5567's video ,it would take over 1 year in order to get the latest spec (the thing from cyberpunk 2077) on release. although I think they buffed the chance since but I don't know since I don't play the game.

You know normally I'd try to defend Sakura Stand as I love everything that isn't grind or powercreep related (heck I've even gotten used to the private server grind at this point), but with the new dev team additions and even when Fate made MKVOL which took me a whole month to obtain, I can say that it's really declining because of these major flaws.

A bit unrelated, but I used to play aut so much 2021-2022, after a while, i started playing ranked and god into the top 100, and I also tried but after all of the updates that made my stuff disappear, and having to reroll stuff, I eventually just quit the game. I played Sakura Stand before, i didn’t mind playing waiting simulator, but the thing that made me dislike Sakura Stand was when i started rolling skins, and when i rolled skins for abilities i didn't have. It didn’t do much with the skins. No, it hard erased the skins just because i didn't have the abilities required to use the skins. I even got a 0.1% skin, but it got erased from me just because i didn’t have the ability required for it. The fact that the Sakura Stand devs doesn’t give the playerbase a way to store skins for later is really darn stupid.

I would hope you could also react on the new “Sandevistan” spec. The rates if the drop being random is already bad, but it’s even worse because somebody literally fucking calculated how much time it takes to get it and came out that it would take 1 year. And yes i did have to talk about HW’s suffering and the money he spent TRYING to get the spec, because in the end he didn’t even get it, because of how fucking hard it was to get. @@felipevalla69 are you referring to the opening boxes for the levels part. that's not actually true. each box gives a set amount of exp. it's not random but it's so boring your brain turns into a cabbage.

@@felipevalla69 honestly a box spawns every 5 seconds to like 10 seconds and you can easily predict its locations so just get a grinding spot and afk there yeah its pretty easy but boring as heckkk

hey eclipse do you think you can get the Tca owner/devs on a video where you interview them i think it would be great for the players to have the devs insight on the game balance and future plans

the only real reason i still play sakura stand is for the somewhat alright pvp, and to just collect stuff pvp in general can be pretty frustrating in more ways then one and also the community behind sakura stand is pretty wild to. i cannot even begin to deny that

Sakura stand literally requires you to wait for a real life full moon to obtain MIH. 😭

I am a Sakura Stand player I waited a year for the Sandevistan update that is the only thing that made me play the game because I am a huge Cyberpunk fan. My dissapointment when Sandevistan was released is immesurable the way of it's obtainment is near impossible. Its a gambling inside a gambling. theres only 0.1 chance for it dropping on normal box and "10percent" on jotaro boss(obvious lie) and when the BOX SOMEHOW DROP THERE STILL ONLY 20PERCENT CHANCE THAT IT MIGHT HAVE THE ITEM(THERES 4 OF THOSE AND RANDOM) ALL THE KZreadRS WHO TRIED TO GET THE SANDEVISTAN LITERALLY ENDED UP JUST TRADING AFTER SPENDING THOUSANDS OF ROBUX. And looking at suggestions for changes and balance there's literaly a lot of people copy pasta the "Do not change the Sandevistan obtainment method" just because they dont want it to be "common". DUDE THE OBTAINMENT OF IT IS UNREASONABLE AND NEAR IMPOSSIBLE HW a sakura stand youtuber literaly spent 40K ROBUX TRYING TO GET THE BOX THAT DROPS FROM THE JOTARO BOSS AND GOT NOTHING. that's how low the chance is and they're still trying to defend it 💀💀💀.

@@tz16i_i95 when it got updated but still you can spend 3hours waiting for 3 jotaros only for them to drop nothing and if it somehow drop atleast one or two Cyber boxes there's only another 20PERCENT chance for it to drop. It's RNG inside RNG nothing changed at all.

funny thing about people saying that sakura stand has less rng methods they added david from cyberpunk endgerunners and a youtuber spent over 43k robux in spawning bosses so he can get the new spec only for him not to get it and asking a dev to give it to him i think the chances were 0.7% when the boss dies to drop a loot crate and a 7% to giving 1 out of the 4 items needed

This is the most entertaining things I've ever watched. It's great, but holy shit I think I suffer from brain damage now.

I think these dilusional players are genuinely NOT understanding what the real problem is, David Martinez it's now in the game as a very VERY unfinished spec, but the problems begin with the rates, you CAN'T obtain this spec without spending so much robux in just a stupid unfinished spec, this is just unfair for the people that don't have robux or just simply DOESN'T WANT TO EXPEND LIKE 100 BUCKS JUST FOR A SINGLE ROBLOX GAME😭😭😭😭😭

yo eclipse, love the content, and this is super off topic, but as ive been binging your vids recently ive had this feeling that you look like something in the back of my head and couldn't put a finger on it. 10:07 the fact that this guy is losing it on simply a random eclipse opp on sakura stand which is true as a cid haver it is a really strong spec with a time stop low cd ability and alot of combo extenders and other than that cid is un-tradeable so idek what this guy is yapping abt

once a game realizes that exploitable children with their mom's credit card play their game. they gotta cash out before they hit complete rock bottom, unless you're a developer with actual respect for their players and DONT flood the game with pointless grinding and microtransactions for everything

I personally like Sakura stand, but I dislike their chances, I can play the game for a few hours, but after that it just gets boring. The devs just make everything almost impossible to obtain for a spec that gets countered by many other things, and the pay to win aspect makes me so mad, when they can take over half of your HP with a combo that a toddler can figure out.

15:27 has a lot of points, roblox jojo games are all near to dead, and the people who want ot keep playing roblox jojo games usually wouldn't want to go to a different game to have to grind it all out when there's already a (albiet horrid) game they're max in. Plus the whole "Multiple fandom abilities more players" thing makes sense, if they stuck to only jojo, the game would've 100% died by now, and the constant updates the game has help it a lot, not many other roblox "jojo" games get updates that large that frequently.

mogging advice cause you have potential: use dermaroller + monoxodil to regrow hairline, use castor oil on eyebrows to grow thickness, teeth are decently straight already, so mewing and general health will solve those on their own, try beta-carotene suppliments for a slightly more orangish hue on skin, attempt hunter eye posture

Games like TCA Actually work hard to create good game for people to enjoy. Meanwhile Sakura Stand Just kills all the motivation I have left in my body 😭

I think the reason people like those kinds of games is for the feeling of progression and permanence they offer. The game is clearly very predatory, with awful microtransactions and terrible combat, but that feeling of progression is what drives so many people to play them. It's why i played so much ABD back in the day.

Hey Eclipse, first off, I love how expressive you are with those gestures. I often talk with others in the same way. Second off, I just like watching TCA, I have tried it and it isn't hard to level up. I just sort of hate YBA, and I dislike the grind. I know TCA is better, but I just never found YBA to be my type of game to begin with. I used to be dedicated, but now I just have severe burnout and am pursuing other games instead. I hope you find this to be purely an opinion and nothing more. I want to riddle you this: will there be visual reworks for TCA (I find some of the animations for TW especially to be somewhat lackluster). I also want to know if you are able to take a peek into the next update ahead of time to see what is in the future, considering that you are part of the testing team now. Cheers, Tyler

Thank you for your response, Tvler! I'm glad that you appreciate my gestures and find them expressive. It's always nice to hear when someone enjoys the way I communicate with others. As for TCA and YBA, it sounds like you have had a bit of burnout from playing YBA but still enjoy playing TCA. That's totally understandable - sometimes games can start to feel too repetitive if we play them too much! As far as visual reworks go, yes there are plans in the works for some visual improvements in TW specifically. We're currently testing out some new animations so hopefully they will be implemented soon enough! Finally, while I am part of the testing team now, we don't usually get a peek into what is coming ahead of time because our focus is on making sure everything runs smoothly before release rather than getting an early look at things ourselves. But rest assured that all upcoming updates will be worth checking out once they come out - there are lots of exciting changes planned ahead! Written by you-write
