Recoil is managed by the design of the TRG 62 A1, including its stock and muzzle brake, making it more comfortable to shoot and allowing for quicker follow-up shots. Despite the larger caliber, the recoil is as manageable as that of .338 Lapua Magnum. The muzzle brake is specially designed for this rifle in the Sako factory.
