When England beat Iran 6-2 where Saka scored a brace in his WC debut, Raheem Sterling scored a goal and an assist, Bellingham scored his first England/WC goal and Rashford scored the fastest substitute goal in WC history Jack Grealish was the face of the win. When England loses to Iceland the pile on is on Saka. Foden and Palmer had an all-time bad performance, Gordon couldn't do anything in the final third and Harry Kane was missing sitters but it's Saka who gets put on all the covers of the newspapers.

You need experience in the middle to link play on both sides of the ball. Declan and mainoo not that type of player, now you the most creative players who should be receiving the ball further up the pitch drop back, the attacking threat is gone because your 6 and 8 both want to run with the ball and not link transition play to the more gifted playmakers in more advanced positions.

Why are they doing this? They want him replaced by a white player just as they did Raheem Sterling. Nothing complicated. And the better he plays, the more they want him replaced and will pretend to praise him temporarily or not mention him at all if they cannot put together a negative scheme against him, but then attack him and throw negativity at him in a bid to drive the fans into hysteria against him when things go wrong, even if there is no reason to blame him, but remember everything negative even if it is not true and was made up as they are here. I have been pointing this behaviour by the media out since noticing Emile Heskey go through and it has never stopped happening to black players. This is their game. To them, the manager firstly has to have a damn good reason to select a black player before a white player, for the black player to just be performing better than the white player is not a good reason, and secondly, if the manager decides the black player is a better option than the white player as an alternative in the objective of winning, the team better win or the managers job will be on the line and the managers soon grow to understand this, some quicker than others. Southgate has only just began to understand this and it is beginning to affect his decisions as it did other England managers. Notably, at the time England reached the final, it was not affecting the managers decision and he ignored the media and took Sterling to the Euros exposing the media bias through the ridiculousness that a player they had declared so poor and demanded the manager leave behind was in fact so good he had been such an influential part of the team reaching the final. What they say and right has nothing to do with football and everything to do with their politics. Since when did you see a player make headline sports news for choosing to shoot rather than pass to another player in a better scoring position as we saw in the hysteria the media drove surrounding Raheem Sterling. It's never happened before in all the football I have witnessed and yet players not passing to the better option and taking a shot which is not successful happens again and again in football. And since when was it expected that a player score a free kick as was the case for Sterling when he missed one and the public were driven by the media into hysteria against him to the point of fans making mocking videos with the fact he scored his 2 previous free kicks suddenly irrelevant. The point being not only to drive negative feelings towards him from the fans, but also to pressure him into not taking free kicks anymore. This is their very sick game. To them it is better England win nothing than England win a competition with a black player doing what Sterling did in the last Euros where I and I believe most of the country enjoyed the best tournament supporting England I or we have ever enjoyed in decades of watching and supporting England. For them that tournament was a nightmare to see England doing so well and Sterling a black player being so prominent in that success. England losing in the final was to them a great relief though they may do their best to hide it and as far as they are concerned it must not happen again. Peace and love

And I have been watching this shit over and over again, having watched England for more than 5 decades. Foden has had plenty of time to prove his values for England, but has consitantly failed. Foden has been missing in an England shirt since before the Quarter-Final against France at the last World Cup. Easy to do it for City when you have quality all over the park, but he won't ever take a game by the scruff of the neck for England like Saka has.

Its totally unfair to portray Saka as the face of failure.. i have to say, Saka, Mainoo and Sterling all have 1 thing in common. They are black. I can only think some of these articles are racially motivated. Even if its an unconscious bias by the reporters.

Racism has been activated again. I remember when Rashy, Sancho and Saka missed their pens vs Italy, and they were absolutely torn to pieces. But what did Kane receive after missing that pen in the world cup vs France? Which ultimately led to their elimination? Both Mainoo and Saka are black, so they are easy to be targeted by these cannibals. I'm a United fan, but i absolutely rate Saka, he is so humble and calm as well as he is just a phenomenal player; a team player. Mainoo now, what i was fearing has unfortunately manifested. I didn't want him to show up on the international stage yet, and remain off scene for further development especially mentally, because i know how vicious and brutal this level can be, led by the media. This level can easily ruin a young player, and that's to shatter their confidence and self belief.

What makes this racism??? Your view that it is racism is more racist than his picture being used. Remove skin colour, Saka was not blamed I have read the pages it was his picture used. The reason his picture was used is because firstly he is one of the players everyone now recognises including ladies who dont even usually watch domestic football. The second and main reason is he threw a paper plane which is a stand out picture that will go with a lot of headlines. Was it racist when David Beckham had a scarecrow made of him and hung from a lamp post, Wayne Rooney took years of abuse and even swore at the fans, Crouch has been abused for how he looks forever and so on.

Couldn't get out of Wendell's pockets against Porto. Name me that last time his goal was absolutely crucial to a victory or even a draw... Numbers can be very misleading and they are exactly that for Saka. 11 goals and 3 assists in 2024, what does he have to show for it? Not even a Carabao Cup. So miss me with that nonsense. Arsenal can win games without him and have done exactly that. The system is well put together, so much that Saka can be taken out and a half decent wide man can be put in his place. Or at the very least provide competition for him. He is becoming stale, he's fading out in the second half of the season two seasons in a row. He needs rest and he needs competition.

The “we need to protect the clubs from debt rising” argument is t disingenuous. You can very easily set up systems whereby funds have to be verified as available, or simply create rules against st debt. Just because someone is a billionaire, it doesn’t mean they really want to invest…. Or that they even have the kind of liquid assets to do so. FFP is about ensuring the firms of revenue teams are allowed to count are based on things the established teams have a clear advantage in, like merchandising. Have the teams declare what they are spending and put it in untouchable escrow at the beginning of each year. No, FFP is not needed to protect teams from bad owners, and it does not, in fact, accomplish that anyway.

Manchester City players were far worse than Colby last night, Declan Rice was supposed to be the number six yet he was up the field and never got criticised for the goal. Kyle Walker was out of position and walking at times. John had no strength and no tenacity in his game, the goalkeeper was poor but they call an 18 year-old black Manchester United midfield though who actually had half decent gameI think pressed it because I think they are being biased. They are sticking up for the clubs they represent and attacking rival clubs and that is not professional at all. This would not have happened in my opinion. 20 years ago wasn’t to get clicks journalism was a profession to be proud of and now it’s become a joke.

There's no hypocrisy in what City said and them voting. The decisions they voted on were decided, even if they didn't vote it wouldn't have changed the outcome what so ever. Instead of an 19-1 it would have been 18-2 and VAR would stay. For the financial loop hole of selling assets it would have been 11-3-2 and the loop hole would have still remained. It's a throwaway vote people do this every time there's a general election, they are contractually obligated to vote, or abstain, so they did. That isn't hypocrisy. Simon Jordan is also a moron, you'd think he'd at least know how to pronounce the word Tyranny. Also I think many people are unaware of the actual meaning of the word tyrant. A tyrant is someone who seizes or take power through illegal means, it doesn't necessarily mean cruelty or evil. City's whole argument is that the rule itself is illegal according to the law of the United Kingdom, essentially meaning the Premier League has been breaking the law. I also don't know why people find the idea of "tyranny of the majority" to be such an absurd phrase, ask literally an ethnic minority group and they'll happily tell you about how the majority can be tyrannical. the alternative isn't tyranny of minority, the alternative is no tyranny at all.
