I've always wondered why Kryptonians were a feared species in the cosmos. Darkseid was surprised that a kryptonian survived, along with Brainiac and others. Makes me still wonder what kind of people they were.

Actually, an average Saiyan can come close to blowing up a planet. In Dragon Ball, Master Roshi can blow up the moon with a power level of 180 after increasing it from 139, while Piccolo has a power level of 322 with weights on, and he just blew up the moon without any problem. Now imagine a power level over 1,000 Danco.

I can see saiyans relying on their ki projectile attacks and their zenkai boosts as an advantage against Viltrumites. I know Viltrumites have their own equivalent of zenkai boosts but the saiyans have a better version of that

Its gravity was 100x of times bigger and the atmosphere far harsher, thiner. A comparison? Every single kryptonian spend ALL THEIR LIFE in that 100x ship Goku spent a few days... Also, want a baseline kryptonian? Black armor Kryptonians of MoS and The Flash. Those kryptonians were NOT empowered by the yellow sun(The armor prevents it)...AND look how ridiculously powerful they were...

Actually the black suit and armor does not prevent the absorption of yellow sun energy, it actually increases it. That's why superman put the suit on after he was resurrected. What the armor does apart from protecting its wearer from physical damage, is filter out excess sensory feedback, which is why the moment it's energy shields fail, their senses become overloaded and they pass out. The moment kryptonians access yellow sun energy they gain all the powers of superman, the only difference is they cannot maintain very tasking workloads for as long as superman as they do not have nearly as much energy reserves as he does, so they gas out earlier so to speak. Also they cannot fly, not because they don't possess the ability, but because flying is the most technical kryptonian ability. It demands extreme concentration and balance mastery to perform, which is why zod was the only one outside of clark to do so. He's believed to possess a tenacious mind and a strong will, that's why he's the only one outside of clark to also master his senses therefore being able to function without the sensory protection his energy shield provides. So while kryptonians under a red sun are way stronger than humans as you said, they aren't nearly the godlike beings they are under a yellow sun, not even close. They actually tend to be around supersoldier or near-supersoldier levels. So while a supersoldier might be impressive from a human perspective, to superman, they might as well be the same thing effectively speaking. It's like comparing 1 (human) and 3 (supersoldier / red sun kryptonian) to 10 million (yellow sun kryptonian). That's why people say red sun kryptonians are as weak as humans.

@@ocheokoh3942 very close, but some things wrong. Kryptonians can fly very early on after initial exposure. It sounds like you're referencing the movie, which has zero bearing on established canon. I concur that they don't nearly have his reserves, and not quite his level of power early on, but it doesn't stay that way forever. Doomsday clock established that superman enjoys a privileged status in the dc metaverse. He is the DC universes number one "antibody" of sorts. That's why he is more capable than others. Its a meta concept that has more to do with the "story of superman" than any inherent kryptonian abilities, or rather, its WHO he is, not WHAT he is, that makes superman unique.

Lets see, Saiyans and Kryptonians can on average, level entire planets alone. It takes three Viltrumites plus outside help to destroy a planet. Viltrumites are barely Planet Busters while the other two are casual planet busters on good days. Viltrumites are out of this battle well before it's really even started.

Look at Cabba and the saiyans from that universe. If the saiyans from Universe 7 had someone to mentor or lead them to reach their full potential nothing would’ve stopped them nor destroyed 99% of their race. Instead Freza used them as henchmen for his deeds. The purpose of Freeza destroying planet Vegeta was because he knew they would rise up and be stronger than him. Weird... Cause he also said at the end of Super to Goku, that there isn't a limit to a Saiyans power. ToP also shows this when literally every Saiyan is surpassing their limits. Its also worth noting that Saiyans never really trained for anything, historically, so as a race they never understood how far they could go. And bringing up the comments people made about Goku, on Namek, clearly doesn't matter considering everything that has happened after.

@@triforceofpowa True, Vegeta did say that. But every Saiyan we seen not have a limit are all gifted Saiyan. Goku may be born low level but he's gifted. Remember his training on King Kai's planet. Imagine if Goku didn't do any training and just walked around it to get used to the 10x gravity. His power level would had still jumped 2-3 thousand just walking around 10x. And that was all in just 6 months. Raditz had like 3 years in 10x gravity and his power level never reached 1000 until he was an adult. If Goku grew up on Planet Vegeta along side Raditz, he would had easily surpassed Raditz in no time, no training at all. Which shows Goku is gifted for a low level Saiyan. All Saiyan with huge tremendous powers are all gifted Saiyan. Even if all the other Saiyan are limitless like Vegeta said, their power increases is miniscule even with training and could never reach the level Goku and Vegeta could. Think about it, if training is all it takes for a Saiyan to be incredibly powerful, wouldn't they would had already try training to try and defeat Frieza?

You are going off mere speculations saying no saiyan could reach the level goku and vegeta could. Saiyan do know about training to increase their power level as shown when Vegeta questioned what kind of training Goku went through to get so strong when he mistaken Goku for a Super Saiyan. Which means they did try training but the result wasn't that significant. Then take a look at Goku and Vegeta's Zenkai jump. They're ginormous. On Namek, Vegeta did no training and his power level jumped from 24,000 to 2,500,000 with in a week off Zenkai. Goku jumped from 90,000 to 3,000,000 with in 1 day just off Zenkai. You think that's normal? You think all Saiyan can do that? If all Saiyan can do that, then why are they all still under 10,000?

You are comparing the privileges of a prince to the average saiyan warrior. Vegeta was a prince so he had got to know stuff and got special privileges other saiyans did not. I never said the average saiyan warrior did not know about training to increase one's power level. Pay attention. The only way we can know the growth speed of an average saiyan warrior is by throwing them in a gravity chamber for a couple months like goku and vegeta. Vegeta as a kid was stronger then his father who was atleast at 10,000. Years later vegeta is only at what 18,000 ? Only 18,000 ? Zenkai boosts are merely the luck of the draw. All those years and saiyan saga vegeta is only at 18,000 ?

He’s tied to the concept of hope itself which is insanely powerful in dc and in the lynchpin to the multiverse and nexus being who can change the preordained flow of time with his will alone. To be fair with the Sayians, They are naturally on a plan with 10x earth's normal gravity. And they never really bothered to train. They just say that okay. This is my base of what I could be at and don't need to train. I could just punch and just do what I gotta do. Freeza was the same way, he thought his power level was already so high, there was no need for training.

Raw strength and durability go to Mongul...but Despero is one of the most potent telepaths in all of comics. So unless Mongul has super resistance to TP, the fight is over before it even begins.

Kryptonians are actually capable of holding the solar energy they absorbed for weeks-months. Proof: remember when Superman was flying from the edge of the universe to earth in the new 52? He was in a weaker state and it took him still 60 days meaning kryptonians can hold all the solar energy they absorbed for enough time to finish the sayians and viltrumites. Sayians are op but Superman showed better feats overall.

Supes has been bench press the mass of the Earth for 5 days in a row without rest or sunlight, and all that happened to him after that was one drop of sweat, both Saiyans and Viltrumites tire much faster than Kryptonians even without sunlight, I'm not talking about fully charged or hyper charged Kryptonians, for example from the core of the sun, in this case any Kryptonian destroys both races without problems

Interesting video. I do say Kryptonians win on these one as well. This is because, outside of the fact that until nowdays Kryptonians are still my main favorite alien race inside the DC universe and in general from any fictional universe. Just considering being born as an alien humanoid being who won't need anymore to eat or sleep, although it may still be capable of doing so, and won't require oxygen to breathe, which enables him to travel in space and underwater easily. And also that being would be resistant or immune to different forms and levels of lacerations, like blunt force trauma, energy based attacks, falls from great heights, explosions, the cold void of space, toxins and all known diseases on Earth. Not only that but by the main fact that Kryptonians can live almost indefinitely if they reside under continuous exposure to the yellow sun's energy. Saiyans on the other way, have the ability to increase their power levels through training and combat experience, so they may have inherent limitations. By the other hand Kryptonians, especially under a yellow sun like Earth's, have consistently demonstrated immense power without the need for continuous training. This could mean that Saiyans might eventually reach a power ceiling that Kryptonians can easily surpass. Also, while both Viltrumites and Kryptonians possess superhuman abilities, their power sets are far different. For example, Kryptonians are depicted with heat vision, super breath, and super speed. Viltrumites do not have these exact abilities, which could be a disadvantage in a direct confrontation.

Superman has his entire race coded into idk if thats just the movie or not

I always wondered that about Superman, he’s just a average dude who lucked out. Though in Man of Steel, since he was natural birth and not preprogrammed, it was implied he would be stronger than other Kryptonians. But imagine Zod growing up on Earth and soaking in solar energy for 30 years. He would have been unbeatable.

Well, no. Vegeta outright stated that Saiyans can't breathe in space. Since he and Goku have God Ki, it would appear that simply having access to God Ki does not allow people to breathe in space. Of course, earlier on in the series Goku and Beerus were seemingly fighting in space.

Saiyans are overall the most powerful as their power continously grows with no upper limit and it doesn't have conditions such as age or environment.

And kryptonians have already demonstrated that once they're exposed to a star, their powers are immediately activated. Zod has battled superman within minutes of being on earth. They get their power by being in the presence of a yellow sun. They get stronger over time the more they're in the sun like how viltrumites get stronger over time with age. Arguably, Saiyan potential was capped by Frieza not allowing them to get too strong. Goku is a low-level saiyan. Given enough time, their potential will continue to surpass viltrumites

I always thought it was strange that nobody from Krypton simply went to Earth in the past and just took over. Imagine Zod with nobody to oppose him and no kryptonite to use on him because krypton hasn’t blown up yet. I think they thought of Earth as primitive and not worth conquering. It would be like the United States invading Ethiopia. They could easily win but it wouldn’t benefit them so it would be a waste of time.

Saiyans without training are like kryptonians without sun.

😅hold on a second! Are we forgetting this comparison is based on Krpytonians who came to Earth. Kryptonians are as weak as humans as they do not have a yellow sun. Its like saying trying to defeat goku if he has a endless supply of senzu beans, its a bit of a sneaky cheat.
