Can we all just take a break until training camp starts? Geez, players will be waived and signed left and right. Just wait until we see some live preseason games to judge the talent of these guys. Kamara will be extended, that's a no brainer.

Whatever the team needs, get them.. have to get some competition back there.not all the safeties gonna make the team..

How the hell is the front office letting this strategy of becoming raiders 2.0 like who said this is a good idea. Trying to sign every raiders throw away including our now head coach… the raiders were AWFUL. Maybe if it was the chiefs or something this would be better but why get every raiders player they don’t want. It’s disgusting mismanagement.

None of the Raiders guys signed this season have anything to do with improving the Saints starting lineup. They are all depth pieces/special teams guys, and having nothing to do with making Carr better. Especially since they are on defense. Now, they may have asked Carr’s opinion on their character, but maybe not. If they really were interested in grabbing a Raider player to make Carr more comfortable, they would’ve signed Renfrow. That would’ve been an outstanding pick up (probably for a good deal too). More so than Wilson Jr (with all that guaranteed money), in my opinion.

I like his as well. He's a safety that doesn't rely on a strong Defensive front. The Saints are kinda soft applying pressure to the qb.. Simmons rely's on pressure to make his play. Abraham works well in space not depending on an elite pass rush..

Matt, I am on board with you 100% on this argument. I have been feeling the same way with several of the latest acquisitions made by the Saints. Are they trying to BE the Raiders??? It really doesn't make sense in signing meaningless players that once played for the same team as DC??? I also agree with tou that I have been waiting for months now, hoping that the Saints would pull the trigger on getting Justin Simmons. I believe adding him would potentially make the secondary elite!!

To be fair, the Raiders changed schemes and coaches so much, the roster was constantly being turned over, so Derek Carr has probably been teammates with 20% of the league. Carr’s completed a pass in a game to 85 different pass catchers in only 10 seasons. That’s more than 8 NEW pass catching teammates in every one of his 10 seasons in the NFL!

I wonder what type of culture the front office is trying to create with most of our players coming from the Raiders. I can understand players from a winning organization like Ohio state but the Raiders? 🤔

I get more and more nervous as we keep adding players from a really bad raider team right now….
