Hi. Thanks for asking. I'd say it's a good, solid device. It's nothing revolutionary, but till now I have less problems than with my old AccuWeather which was about same price range. What I definitely miss here is the current high/low temp for the current day on the display without pressing any button. Also the dimming is still too bright for the night. Usually it's transferring reliable to the internet (e.g. Wunderground), but I've had now a 2 week outage for no obvious reason and some ppl are complaining that the station is only reporting their info once per hour to WU. But my station is still reporting every 5 min. Yeah ... not perfect, but also not really bat and solid built outside unit. I had so much bad experience with AccuRight (my old station) in the past so I'm very happy to not have to deal with this company any more ;-))))

Hi. Mine shows the wifi as solid, but there's no "e" on top. Wunderground shows the device as "OFFLINE". I already DMZ'd the device to open all ports on my router. I assigned a static IP address on it as well, but still no luck. Any tips?

Sorry to hear about your problems. I didn't have to change anything on my (WOW) router and I think it's not needed unless you have some crazy router settings. Applying the settings on the weather station with the Wifi AP worked?

Hello. congratulations for the video. my console disconnects from the router after 1 minute. I see that yours has also disconnected (minute 8:40). how can i solve this connection problem with the router. thanks

Tanks. I didn't do anything. Wow - your eyes are very sharp - lol. I haven't realized that in the video. I've just double-checked and it's still reporting to Wunderground every 5 minutes with only very rare exceptions. I haven't done much with the station after setting it up 1 year ago, but I know there's a firmware update available for some of the older versions. Maybe you're not on the latest firmware?

You mentioned on weather cloud you selected other and on weather underground you selected accurite I have 6 or 8 models of accurite stations. Which model did you select?

How has this held up? It's $40 off right now and I'm thinking about getting it. How long do the batteries last outside?

Thanks for asking. It's still in perfect shape. I mean I haven't checked up there, but I never had to clean the sensors and never had to replace the batteries and I think the measurements are still about the same as at the beginning. It doesn't have the most fancy display, but if you're just interested in a solid working weather station then buy it

Hello. Thanks for the video. Can this WS store data internally? Can you download it manually using the WIFI interface and a laptop/phone? I want to buy one and install it in a place with no internet service. Thanks.

I don't think that it can store it - at least I've never seen or heard about this function. I have mine always connected

Any tips for connecting to the WiFi? I read somewhere that you could use your phone or laptop to connect to the console's WiFi but I've yet to figure it out.........

Sure - you can connect with anything that has a web browser. Do you see the blinking Wifi icon on the weather station?

I'm still having it. It's not the most fancy weather station, but quite reliable. It has survived now 2 hurricanes ... not bad ... ;-))

how do you find the mac id for the WS0310? I can't seem to find that anywhere.

Isn't it on the website (of it's own access point)? Sorry I can't remember. Maybe you can also see it on your router? Why do you need it actually?

To calibrate the barometer on the ws-0310: press and hold the "set & alarm" buttons for 5 seconds...that brings you to the calibration mode. then quick press the set button to get to the relative pressure box.....press plus or minus to change the numbers then press alarm to save it.

The problem I'm having is that it only updates to Weather Underground once per hour- exactly on the hour (7:00, 8:00, 9:00, etc.). My previous weather station from Ambient Weather updated Weather Underground much more frequently. Is there a way to fix this?

Mine is usually reporting every 5 minutes (prnt.sc/12bb9j2) and very reliable, but today there was a huge outage of about 10 hours - I've never seen that before 😱😱😱

@@pilotnh2 nope - sorry - haven't found anything, but I didn't see the need so far except that the outdoor temp and the "feels like" temp has always been the same number for month. But now it's showing accurate numbers again. Weird. Maybe they are triggering updates in the back from their end?

@@allcheckout It turns out the issue is on the WU side. If I look at the history table at any moment, the immediate past 4 hours only have 1 data point each and everything before that has 12 data points per hour. But as time goes, those last 4 hours populate fully with data from every 5 minutes and the new most recent 4 hours only have 1 data point each. Strange.

You can use any smartphone with a browser built in to set it up and then use WU and other apps to access the data of your station .... e.g. with Weather Station app (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arf.weatherstation)

Can the base station be hung on a wall?

Mine does currently every 5 minutes. If you have less, you should update the firmware

Not much ... only about 35 mph during a hurricane cat 1, but it's in a not optimal spot a little protected by a tree on one side so I can't tell it it would be accurate, but it's still rotating freely as far as I can see

@@BadWeatherfreak I'm pretty happy with the performance, reliability, accuracy even when it's not 100% accurate in direct sun, but still much better then AcuRite. The first set of batteries lasted now exactly 2 years. The display is not as 'fancy' as the AcuRite, but I'm done with AcuRite because they are scamming all their users every couple of years with bridge updates or so and then you have to buy a new station. So definitely recommended from my side. Oh - BTW: because I had to replace the batteries now, I've made "2 yr experience" video and will release it in the next few days (hopefully) ;-))

It's quite long ago, but I really can't remember any kind of such settings and I didn't upgrade the firmware and mine is reporting by default every 5 minutes

I am going to use yours as an example of one that works. Yours seems to update often. I suspect it is some type of throttling they implemented recently. People on Amazon are complaining about this issue as well.

Horrible set up, does not connect to outside unit, spent a week trying to set up, did the factory set up factory restart. No avial. Cannot get it to connect to the console. ready to send back. lets see how hard that will be. Christmas present for my wife, not worth the time to waste with this unit.

Strange ... my station was super easy to set-up and connect. Maybe it needs a FW update ....

Hi, good video... I want to make a study about wind velocity for one year, I think all that data is store in weathercloud. Is possible download all that data in an excel file o svg file??? I've seen a ot of reviews and nobody talks about it...... THANKS
