rei hino honestly has the best and most badass attacks, i love how they mixed fire with a japanese influence, it makes her my favorite sailor senshi.

One of my favorite scenes in the whole series is Sailor Mars v Doom and Gloom Girl. Even about to die, Mars commands the monster, gives the look of death, and lights her up like the 4th of July.

Mars seems to be the dedicated Damage dealer in the group: Her attacks are potent and precise. While she lacks the AoE capabilities of Sailor Jupiter, her attacks tend to set targets on fire, which augments her attacks with a damage over time effect.

So... Special - Burning Rage Deal physical damage to enemy. Inflict burning for 3 turns which cannot be resisted. If enemy is suffering a debuff, attack is guaranteed a critical hit. If Sailor Moon is present, she assists, dealing 60% less damage. Cooldown: 4 turns

I wish all the attack effects on their enemies are more hardcore. So far Sailor Mars' is the most badass, followed closely with Sailor Jupiter. It's a real buzzkill after all the posh poses and visual effects, didn't do much on the enemy.

It would make sense in the 1st arc where they need to weaken the enemy so SM can heal them, same with every enemy that is an innocent just turned evil. But for enemies where they are summoned monsters it really sucks sailor moon is the only one who can do anything

I get why they changed the names of some of the attacks, but I didn't like how they had to add random verbs and stuff to the ends. "Mars Celestial Fire" is a pretty awesome attack name, but adding surround was just weird. At least Mercury got to keep "Shine Aqua Illusion" after a few episodes of screaming "Mercury IceStorm Blast!"

Best fire-mage. Hot, seductive, attractive. Full of passion to fight. Eyes full of dead-set intention to battle to death. Such a brave sailor soldier. One tier with Makoto, obviously. Because both of their attacks look like offensive/suppressive.

Does anybody have the transcript of Raye chanting when she's about to lay an ofuda (that scroll with kanji in her right hand) on someone's forehead? In the English dub, she usually says "I call upon the power of Mars," but I doubt that's what she says in the original Japanese dub.

Rin Pyo To Sha Kai Jin Retsu Zai Zen. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuji-in There are some exceptions (Fire Soul Bird, etc.), but the Kuji is almost always the case.
