We spent 8 years aboard and sailing the southern Atlantic. And now we are in a cabin in the mountains. But I can't sleep without the roll of the boat and the sounds of the sea, This sounds like a 4 knot night sail ,off watch, in the quarter berth . PERFECT!

Donna, I see Brad already responded to you, and I will too. I was a professional sailor along the southern waters. Texas hq. Caribbean, the works... bust mostly boat retail, repairs, lessons and so, so much sailing....and you sweetie did a real sailing sounds appraisal... sorry about the mountain. I am stuck in the plains now...sailing and racing destroyed my knees, but not my love for what I did for 17 plus years.

Do you still make these videos? I was thinking you could do a Hawaiian one similar to your bayou. With distant different kinds Hawaiian music, wind in the palms, sea, rain, gentle Hawaiian talking…. Please?

I never slept so good as when we crossed the Atlantic.

The fact of the matter is that this recording is devoid of that irritating low frequency hum in the background of most others online. I really appreciate this. Gonna listen to it in its entirety now. This may find significant use in the future, at which point I will try my best to show you my gratitude even further. Thank you. And a fine job on this.

Very nice sounds. So soothing. One of the greatest sounds I ever heard was a lot full of boats put up for the winter on a windy day... the wind blowing through the rigging, the tarps flapping, and so on, just thinking about it sends shivers up my spine. In a good way! I'm going to try to remember to go back there this winter and see if I can get a good recording of it.

Reluctant Dragon Sounds great. It is tough to get any sound of wind. I used many Foley effects in this video to emulate the sound of wind in sails.

I enjoy listening to this in the background while also listening to Assassin's Creed 4's sea shanties. Very atmospheric :)

Love these Brad! Been using them every night for a year and I sleep like a beast now where I used toss and turn with tinnitus. Used to get maybe 2 to 5 hours sleep a night. Now 7 to 8 solid REM quality sleep...I'm sold brother! One sound suggestion = combine harvesting corn....will lull you to sleep like a baby!

Thank you. In the opening, on San Francisco Bay, my Dad and I sailed exactly right there, close the Golden Gate. He would have loved this.

There is quite a few rain ones, but that isn't bad, I like rain and you have lots of different types, so yeah, the best sleep/ relax sound maker on the interwebs, subscribed bro! Or in a sec I will.

Sounds like the real thing through Yamaha NS-A636 speakers and a Nakamichi TA-2A STASIS amp. I highly recommend it if you're going to listen to this track.

ahh yeah this was nice when dozing off too until the creepy footsteps woke me up and i got an image of a man with wellingtons and a raincoat and hat coming into the cabin og the sailboat with an oil lamp followed by lots of rain water and a feeling that he was going to attack or scare me lol other than the footsteps very nice and relaxing !

go to 3:15:07 and you can hear some footsteps, It repeats a few times now and again, may have been accidently recorded while moving around when in the process of recording.

Strange. I have no problem. I checked a variety of browsers and they all work for me.
