I sure like his attitude, it would be nice to hear more.
If a shorter boat is approaching a mark ahead, with a long boat coming behind, how far away is the 3 boat length zone? E.g a Melges 24 is ahead with some 50' boat behind, does the overlap get established at 72' or 150' circle?
What about boats on different tacks inside the zone?
