Jahirulnisha ji is a handloom weaver living in Sahri Village, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. she is involved in the weaving work since childhood and didnt know any work apart form this. she has a very tough time managing her work along with the household chores and taking care of her family but despite of all the challenges she is working with the hope of change.
With support of HCL foundation and AIACA women handloom weavers and Zardozi artisans of Sahri village getting empowered through increased wages, direct customer interactions, market facilitation and varous training programs.
AIACA supports woman like Jahirulnisha ji and becoming fuell for their empowerment. we are on a mission to weave a furture of sustainace of the artisans of Sahri one thread at a time!
