Its easier to put the seat back on if you put the key in and unlock the seat, it will pull the spring back which is working against you when its locked

Drill holes in the strap and use the screws that held the stock strap in.

I’d take a seam ripper/thread remover to that tag on the seat, otherwise it looks fantastic, I’d say it’s a must have for this bike.

You can get seats from Sahara Seats in India & there is a Italian seat covers which are very stylish but expensive.Corbin seats do a whole seat different stitching but super expensive.

I added a few staples on each side to secure it. If you wanted it to be even more secure you could remove the OEM seat cover and staple the new one every few centimeters along the edge. I’m definitely going to keep a close eye on it! Right now I’m satisfied with it.

In ome of tour video’s you said that you vinyl wrapped the radiator covers. How did you get the vinyl into the screw holes. Can’t seem to get that last part covered without showing the original color

Yep... that seat clip... Triumph could really improve the catch clip. It is a very iffy component... Regards!

Agreed whenever ive taken my seat off it is a battle to get it to catch back on.

Will a seat cowl still fit - say ermax?

Is it comfortable for long rides? I'm trying to find seats with the same color for my Matte Black.

The longest ride I’ve done with it is about an hour at time. This was mostly an aesthetic thing for me. This cover feels pretty much like the stock seat TBH.

Do you thing this same color seat could fit well in a trident 660 on black matt? I love it but I'm kinda scared to ruin the aesthetic of my bike.

It’s definitely a personal preference! The good thing is the seat cover wasn’t very expensive so if I ended up not liking it I could just remove it. I do like it though, it’s unique to other color combos I’ve seen of the trident.

You can try stapling the straps and giving a jerk just above the seat lock area.

It is holding up well! It’s only been a few months though.

You’ve probably seen a lot more of these than I have. Have you found anybody that’s been able to do something different with that shroud on the tail/brake light? I love the look of this bike besides that part, I wish it was traditional exposed frame that rounds under the seat kind of like a scrambler or something else. It looks like they tried to do both and I just don’t like it, are there any mods that you’ve seen anybody do that replace that rear shroud/fairing or whatever you want to call it? Thanks

I have seen some! I agree with you, it’s not my favorite part of the bike. I think it looks better then the long ones that stick out on other sport bikes though. Anyways, search “tail tidy” for the 660 and you will find them. Evotech makes one that caught my eye.

@@halohalohikers3571 My seat cover came in today. The gel insert when you buy from them is sewn in nicely into the seat cover pocket area for rider. It feels amazing. I too couldn'tr figure out leather strap with velcro that it came with. I got it to go around the seat in same place as the oem one, but its not secure. I didn't want to staple or do anything permament yet. Going to let leather settle and stretch and just keep it warm and conditioned for now. Seat is a pain to get back on bike for sure haha. I didn't get the rain cover with my order. Just a keychain. and thank you card.

damn that's not a seat cover, it's a sock. slid over the seat No staples or real stretching involved, just slide it on and pull. not going to last In my opinion

Yea it’s a cheap aesthetic piece. So far it’s lasted through all four seasons no issues, we will see though!
