    Sage Tea is a powerful anti-anxiety and antidepressant when used daily, thanks to its thujone content. I mix mine with green tea. This combo saved my life, no RX drugs worked.

    For years our family have had dried sage on hand and or use fresh or frozen sage to make tea by gently boiling it in water and straining it and drinking with a hint of honey to help heal a sore throat. It always works like a treat in clearing up a throat infection. No need to see a doctor when a cup of sage tea can help.

    if everyone knew the benefits the pharmacy industry would go bankrupt, sage is freaking amazing and works practically for any problem, but be warry of what sage to use and there are some that are poisionous, i do know white safe is safe and very effective, best of all, all the benefits are same if burned, soaked as a tea, and smoked (yes smoked, completely legal, safe and does wonders)

    I found you while looking up sage tea. That video was awesome. Thank you. Just finished my first cup. Took only a cup as I did not know from thujone or a sensitivity to it, but felt safe enough trying it. The sage says Sage Officinalis did not specify where it came from so am guessing it might have a minuscule amount of it. Looking forward to seeing more of your channel. When i say my inflammation in my hands can get so bad it causes depression, it's BAD. But when my mom got sick the other week i was thinking about what i could do to help. We have herbs but she was nauseous so i thought to look into some tea i could make with the sage we have since i remember it being very good for health. I started drinking it daily, faster in the mornings and eating the leaves (i just love the taste of herbs), my hands were pain-free by the second day and i hadn't even connected the dots to it, but my mood was also WONDERFUL. I only realized when i stopped that maybe that tea was doing wayyy more than i realized and started again yesterday. Already almost pain-free, and that's AFTER my first intense workout in a bit due to life being busy. I am swearing by this stuff! I also LOVE rosemary so I'm going to try that too and see how i like it. Also, hair is thinning and i've heard of rosemary oils proven benefits so now i'm thinking i'll make some tea masks/washes as well as get some oils of both! I also LOVE and swear by Holy Basil tea so, you learn something new about your body's intuition on knowing what's best for you every day. Being that I'm starting college again in about a week, i need all the antiinflammation natural remedies i can integrate into my daily lifestyle. Thank you so much!

I dont like chamomile on its own but i get the tea bags with lemon balm and other flavours with the chamomile and i add cinnamon to it and that's quite nice. Hey, thanks for the video - really informative and helpful! I just started experimenting with Sage Leaf, after one of my spirit guides suggested it to me; So i ordered 2 pounds of organic sage leaf, the salvia officialis species. However, there is no dosage instructions or recommendations on the bag i received, and i can't find much on google, surprisingly. Everything i have found is showing dosage instructions under tinctures; Now i use oblate discs to parachute my powders/medicine, they are basically food-grade rice-films that you put the powder in and wrap it up, dunk in water and then swallow and it opens/dissolves in stomach. Basically skipping the taste and eating part, and putting the herb/plant directly into your body. I have been grinding down a tablespoons worth at a time, which measures out to roughly 3~3.2 grams according to my digital food scales, and i have been taking that once a day. Is this enough of the leaf to get any type of benefit/effect? Mind you i am 32 year old male, about 5"9-5"10 and i weigh roughly 200lbs, which fluctuates quite often, other than that, i am quite healthy. I drink plenty of water daily, and also consume a variety of seaweeds daily. Would you say 3 grams is a good dosage to take for daily-use to obtain the health benefits and to gain from the nutrition in this plant or would i need to take more in? Maybe 6 grams would be a better dosage? Please let me know! Thank you! - oh, i wanted to add that i am also taking Blue Vervain also, another nervine tonic that i purchased along with Sage Leaf; Hoping this will help with my nerveous system and help me chill out and calm down, as i am either very active/hyper or very tired and down; I am taking 6 grams of the Blue Vervain as well, once daily. I have 1 lb of blue vervain, and 2lbs of the sage. Thank you again, am looking forwARd to hearing back from you! God bless and take care - Brian

    WORD OF WARNING: while his facts are correct he did not mention what sages are safe, i can confim however (with the help of google and own research) white sage is very safe to use to consume. His fact are definately correct about helping sore throats...quick story: when ever i get a sore throat i smoke some sage (YES IT CAN BE SMOKED AND IS LEGAL) within 10-30min. my sore throat is completely gone vs. taking medicine or sore throat tablet which can take days. My wife doubted this with her sore throat i gave her sage tea.....gone within the hour....sage tea can is almost a miracle for those with add or adhd (makes a jumpy child nice and calm) just remember WHITE SAGE is the way to go if your not completely sure which sage to use......AND ALWAYS RESEARCH before using.....Ive used white sage alot for everything....AND I MEAN EVERYTHING, its possibly the greatest plant ever.

  • @EccentricNature

    @EccentricNature

    3 жыл бұрын

    I found Spanish sage seeds on Ebay, and I'm growing some now. Most of what you'll find is common sage. Like I said, sage tea isn't that high in Thujone at the end of the day. The average person can have 3 cups per day before risking any side effects. And even then some people won't have a problem. Just depends on your body chemistry.

  • @luannapierce2544

    @luannapierce2544

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@EccentricNature I appreciate that Ebay help. I know that Thujone is OK in small doses, I know that from YOUR video, and yes, I do know the side effects are totally dependent on someone's body chemistry, as is true of so many things. Smile. I really liked the way it tasted and could see me wanting more of it. I work nights as an RN and I make a pot of tea to drink throughout the night, at least the first part of it. But that was black tea and green tea with some caffeinating help. Sage tea will just be a home tea for now. Will check out eBay. Is there any way you know of to test sage to see its thujone content? I mean... what is to keep people from labeling it Spanish tea to sell more of it? UH, yeah, pretty much a matter of trust and common sense, I guess. Unless I grow it myself I cannot truly be sure. Looking forward to the BAY LEAF VIDEO when you get around to it. Wild promises being thrown about. Not bad tasting. I am exploring alternatives to the store-bought "tea" I have a dedicated coffee machine for tea. I recently got one of those electric kettles to get the exact temp as green tea and white green tea taste wildly better due to the lower temp of steeping. Who knew? I am so enjoying your videos.
