The Lord saved me July 23,1974 . I was not in a Church but on the streets of Compton California. I was doped up and almost died, but when I called on Jesus knowing I was not ready ( I would have went to Hell). He saved me at that moment. I went to church and heard about being filled with the Holy Ghost and I wanted it. 39 years later, Im still safe in His Arms. Thank you so much for posting this. The Lord lead me to this

I remember singing this when I was 13 years old in church. I initially didn't want to sing it, but I learned it anyway. The day that I sang this song something came over me and sang it as I believed in every single word! The audience exploded with praise and the holy spirit was present! After I finished the song, I shouted with joy with uncontrollable praise in my heart! My choir family just held me and praised God with me. I knew that day the power of God! Thank you, father!!

Yes Lawd when the ushers wore white uniforms, white gloves & a gold name tag that looked like a sheirf badge but only read 'USHER', on it. When everybodies grandmother wore wide brim hats & carried a small notebook size purse with nothing but last weeks Sunday program folded up in 4 corners, peppermint for everyone on her pew/pue!,a hankerchief, lipstick, a comb, her tithings, coins (for the kids to drop in the offering at Sunday schoo & a switch! Awww, the good old days!

The Lord has been with me during a very dark season last year it was hard for me to find work, I was severely depressed and suicidal and I was at a point when I wanted to cut my arm while washing dishes at my grandmother's house I checked in a hospital called Gateway where I recieved some counseling but also to develop a better relationship with the Lord I previously gave my life to him as a teen but I strayed from his path I stopped going to church and I barely read my Bible or seeking the presence of Jesus Christ at that moment while I was in the hospital I got on my knees asking him to get me through this dark season and he did I was reading the book of Psalms while I was in my dorm with a roommate if it wasn't for my affliction and pain and the Lord helping me though I definitely wouldn't be here today glory to our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ btw: anyone reading this Jesus loves you please don't give up he will make a way when times are dark and will not leave you he is knocking on the door of your heart

I am a witness as well, that in my darkest hour God made a way when it looked like all hope was gone. I have been manically depressed and suicidal and it's only by the grace of God that I'm still here. I truly love and appreciate Him for keeping me in when I was in a very dark place. It was no one but God...Millions didn't make it but I'm one of the ones who did bc if His Love, Grace and Mercy... May you continue to be blessed and hold to God's unchanging hands....

This is a classic gospel song. You can hear the realness coming from within. I thank God for the Holy Spirit 🙏. He's real indeed. Better to me than I've been to myself. I will forever bless the name of the Lord 💓

Phyllis Hayes thinking my grandson had my phone and made this comment. This was his mother’s favorite song. She passed at the age of 31 and he was nine. I believe what he was trying to say is his mother is the best singer of this song... to him. So sorry for the confusion...I agree with Neil. Music today has changed tremendously.

I lost my Dad on March 8, 2017 and I was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Disease in October of 2018. I lost my oldest sister in Feb 2022. Its been a roller coaster but this is one of my songs that gets me thru my storms ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Man, we need to come back to gospel music like this.

As my 40th birthday approaches on July 30th, this song comes to my mind. Throughout my 40 years I've been safe in God's arms. My mother and father brought me up in the church. They're in heaven now but if it wasn't for their commitment to God and raising me to know God, I would have gone astray. I've been safe in his arms. Thank you Lord!

I remember praying while listening to these songs as a young person who first when i first recieved the holy ghost. I could feel god moving as i listened and remembered his goodness and mercy all these years.

After losing my mother husband and other family members. Going through sickness and depression. I find myself listing to this song everyday of my life. This song reminds me after all I’ve been through.....”I’m safe in my Savior arms”. This song brings chills to my entire body. Thank you father God for wrapping me safe in you loving arm🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

When the storm comes and you feel like you have lost everything your business and your income and your husband is sick and your grandkids are grieving because their father O D and you feel like giving up you gotta know you are safe in his arms you might not feel like it, but God never leaves us! Feb 27, 2023!

I'm glad he shall hide me!! With tears in my eyes I honor God for his faithfulness throughout my life . So much has happened that should have taken my sanity and my life but God kept hiding me from the enemy. this is song is over 30 years old but the anointing is still fresh. THANK YOU MILTON BRUNSON AND THE TOMMIES FOR LEAVING US A BODY annointed WORK THAT will carry us through the many seasons of this life.

Thanking the Lord today. For years this song has reminded me that I am safe in His arms. Psalm 23.

This song keeps playing in my head. I keep reflecting on all the times death, life’s uncertainty and bad decisions almost end me. However, the LORD protected me and truly kept me safe in HIS arms. Thank You JESUS for being my shield.
