They keep following dad. Dad couldn't get peace of mind so he tried to shake the kids off.

Lion cubs are so adorable. I love how they're full of mischief and try to mess with their parents, especially their dads 😄

Dads want to sleep, Cubs want to play. I hope mom comes home with food for everyone! This is beautiful to watch, thank you so much for sharing the love ❤️

So dad splits his time between sleeping, swatting them away, and screaming "What the hell you want NOW?" every time he's stepped on, walked over, bitten and pulled. These little ones are a handful!

Actually the mother cleverly hides the lion cubs paternity by mating with both male lions so we really don’t know which male is actually the father. Both are a bonded male coalition. There is no uncle…an uncle lion wouldn’t tolerate cubs that weren’t his so close. He’d have them killed

@@jjh2456 I mean biologically there can only be one father of course but all Male lions in a coalition consider the cubs their own…none of them would tolerate being an “Uncle”. that’s what happened with the Mapogos, one of them returned to coalition and started murdering his brothers cubs, since he was sure they weren’t his as he wasn’t present during those years

Daddy needs a peaceful sleep and then this two little naughty cubbies annoying him around is so fun to watch!! Daddy is extremely tolerant and Cubbies are sooo actively playful!😍😍

I love watching the big males be so patient, with their offspring. They are too cute to get too upset with, lol

Grumpy and lazy sleeping 23 hours a day

Avoca males are really good dads. They tolerate the cubs, not so many male lions like that. Dads of the year!

It’s just so heartwarming seeing them in their own habitat being who they truly are. Love this 🦁💕

Every twig, blade of grass, log, and just the wind, is an adventure for these sweet cubs and Dad is the cherry on top ❤️

The look on his face when they came closer to him while they’re playing is priceless. No matter where he goes they keep following 🤣🤣. So much for sleeping!

Dad with the kids Mom is doing shopping and tell husband to take care of the kids. The result, Daddy fell asleep and the kids stay awake to guards dad. 😁😁😁

Momma lioness was probably like “Now look, I’m going to get dinner. I’m leaving two cubs in your care and when I get back two cubs better still be alive. Don’t be losing your temper like they a buffalo!!”

When you’re supposed to take a nap but just can’t go to sleep!

Every father knows these moments, love it

3:30 that paw though 😂 it's the leonine equivalent of dad's foot hanging down from the bed. First thing you are going to go to when you are a toddler and want attention. 😂 So cute. Kids act the same all throughout the species, that's really adorable to watch.

The two male lions seem to be gentle and tolerant to the two cubs. 🙂

What a beautiful sighting. The Avoca’s are so loving to the cubs. It’s amazing to see the big boys being so mushy lol I just have to say that Blondie is a beautiful male. His mane is gorgeous 🦁❤️

mischezizza Dad: ‘I spent the entire night patrolling the borders keeping other carnivores that would want to kill you and other male lions that would eat you away. I fought off two hyenas, a leopard and barely escaped with my life while chasing off a coalition of 4. I have a fresh wound above my eye and a sore paw. Your welcome.’

Well, he actually will harm them when they reach sexual maturity. Or maybe the male cub will kill dad if the younger lion senses weakness. They are wild animals after all.

@@killaking2539 Like I said, unless the son decides to kill the father. Of course the son may let the father live. That option is little better though. An old male lion will likely get killed off by other animals as he wanders around with no territory and no females to hunt for him, if he doesn't starve to death first.

@@edwinlee2343 thats not how that works , male Cubs dont return to claim the throne like some disney movie they seek out different prides to spread there DNA, coming to kill there own father means killing there own siblings which they almost NEVER do, the point of them leaving is to continue there own bloodline

I just love lion cubs so much, I have said this like hundred times LION CUBS ARE THE CUTEST ANIMALS IN AFRICA. :-) 🐾💗

They're soooo cute, I've watch this 2x I love it with the "sounds of Africa" I hope they make it to adulthood, they're quite aggressive with each other, but most loins are. If they make it to Adulthood they will be a force to be reckoned with

He was very tolerant considering his beauty sleep was being interrupted. I love the coloring and markings on the cubs. This is a great family, mom must be sleeping somewhere else...

This is an absolute regular riot. Above and beyond precious. The lion cubs and Dad it warms your heart. The two rascals are fascinated by their father This is truly a joy to watch.

Jason Hovick it depends, solo lions or a coalition of lions will hunt themselves, its the ones with a Pride that tend to fall back, and even so, when its a very large pride the lions may join the lionesses in hunting.

The females do all of the hunting and feed the male first in order to keep him strong. Males will hunt if the females are not successful .

Mostly the lions sleep and patrol their territory. The lionesses hunt and teach cubs survival skills.

So amazing that if it wasn’t for hyenas or males taking over a pride, these little incredibly precious babies could survive to a longer age. So sad that over half won’t make it to adult years. It’s not fair. Big cats are the best.

They are a paw full are,nt they.Fathers show great patience and of course poor Mothers even more so.I can watch this for hours,love lions they are magnifecent big cats.

I liked this...because it's a rare site to see.You usually always see the lioness dealing with the cubs...Even when they off hunting.The cubs are mostly left with their Aunts,Bigger sisters etc...Never really the Males.

Perfect title for this video, hope the cubs grow up to be just like dad.

So reminds me of my older brother and I when our dad would try to take a nap.

Cubs always love to hang out with the big guys. These cubs have obviously not learned how to sleep twenty hours a day. The males are pretty chilled with the cubs.

Avocas have impressed me in the patience department. These 2 cubs are very thin though. Not sure why, could be growth spurts, but I have thought that since Amber Eyes cubs were introduced. I hope they never get lost. They dont have any reserve to keep them for long.
